Just recently got an Advanti Vero flow form wheel. They're indeed super light!

I think an interesting topic would be why different wheels are required for different purposes - e.g why racing wheels are often heavier than high performance street wheels, because of say designing to take extra load due to downforce, increased cornering braking Gs, kerbs and ‘wheel to wheel’ contact. Or what makes Multi piece so expensive but heavier than say the rpf1’s. Or why I can’t put my favourite TE37s on my chongus pickup.

Is it possible to take a wheel like BBS LM and place the face of it more inwards? What would that process look like? To see what I mean google Barracuda Voltec T6, which has a replica of LM face but the face is way more inwards which makes it IMO a way cooler fit for a lot of JDM cars (bigger distance between the beginning of the wheel and the face)

I just got a set of wheels , they have those studs seen to put 3 piece wheels together and a chrome lip so am I right to presume they’re forged? Only two had the centra caps and they say Ultralite , anyone know anything about them
