ALL of my experiences with this dynamic ended very badly. If your infatuation with a man is becoming overwhelming, exit stage left. Yes, I mean excuse yourself from that job or that class, or wherever you are around this person on a regular basis. No, I am not talking about a crush. You know when you are falling in love. These situations do not end well. Take everything he says and does literally (because it is literal) and get away.

I'm twice divorced in my younger years. I married at 19 and divorced at 24, then married again at 25. I was divorced by 33. I have not remarried, and I am now in my late 50's. I am single and celibate and very content this way for years. The Lord has given me a great friend and I don't miss the married life nor seek a husband. I have over 550 Facebook friends requests, all from men. I do not care, nor do I trust online relationships. Like a friend of mine says, "God always keeps you happy". That about sums it up.

He's not pursuing because He's waiting for God to shine the light for the next step. It's been 9 months of dinner out every weekend and church together. In the meantime, I am allowing God to work on my insecurities and negative thought life. As God chisels away on me, I realize God's making me a better person. I think God is doing this for him. I'm glad he's waiting.

He said he has been evaluating things, but has not responded as to what conclusion he has come to. At this point I don’t care if he says no. Well it would suck. But at least I would have an answer.

@noelleborwick1319 His silence IS an answer and the answer is "no." Most men are not going to come right out and say that they are not interested, to spare your feelings. He is fading away and hoping that you will back off and take the hint. You are wasting your time praying for God to change the heart of a man who doesn't want you, when you know that God does not manipulate our free will.

In these days it is really hard to date. When you are dating in dating apps it is common that after few days of talking someone despair and stop responding. When you are open, you open your heart in front of a person, you are available for him, showing him interest, responding quickly, men are thinking you are desperate. I do not know what is happening in these days, it is really sad. God is good and I still believe, despite what I have learned by my experience, there are men who respect God and will provide 💛

It’s difficult. Especially when you think you found someone you can be friends with and then maybe even more but he doesn’t respond how you think. He admits later that he didn’t ask you out because of a health issue only telling you this later. Also in the same vein it’s also the reason he doesn’t spend time with you. You continue to try and be patient and sometimes you text and you think you’re getting somewhere. But still..slowly it’s hard because you’re desperate for a connection with someone similar to you who shares experiences. Right now I am waiting for him to reach out. It’s becoming easier to not dwell on why he hasn’t texted.

Amen. I made the same mistake as a guy in college. I am Glad God taught me that lesson through the pain of being ghosted after a month. It’s one of my failed relationships I am glad it happened the way it did. Observing the person’s character and faith is key, because as an Introvert myself, we are usually more private and keep to ourselves. However that doesn’t mean we won’t open up because we are always thinking about deeper and meaningful things in our minds a lot when the more expressive guys are chatting everyone up.

Anen, I agree. Woman shouldn't pursue men. 1 Corinthians 11 verse 8 "For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9 neither was man created for woman, but woman for man" That's very telling in itself. We were created 4 man, not other way around. If it was the other way around we as women would do the pursuing. I've been stuck on reading 1 Corinthians, because Father God led me there because he kept dropping scripture 4 me. I hadn't read it beforehand, so kept getting a few and that was my que to read all of Corinthians, because I believe Father God has a message. Funny enough I had a few dreams and a vision. It's been like a source of information going hard in hand with scripture from Corinthians. 13 July Father God told me in a dream "my son is coming (men are the sons of God) read 1 Corinthians 11 verse 3 "Now I want you to realise that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, abd the head of Christ is God" After the dream I just happened to read 1 Corinthians 4 verse 17 For this reason I am sending to you Timothy, my son whom I love, who is faithful in the Lord" Dreamt about the guy 15 July and her a south african song *I'm from there", living in UK. The song is 4 rugby players and says "hier kom die bokke" aka roughly translated "here come the buck". So I know the man I'm supposed to be marrying is on his way. I had 3 dreams in a row earlier this year. Keot seeing the guy abd I prayed to Father God on the 3rd night asking why I kept on seeing him. Early the next morning around 4 am or something I had a vision of going up Jacob's ladder. All I saw was a beautiful staircase I walked up on and the brightest, clearest light I had ever seen. I didn't see anything else just the light and I hear "the both of you love each other. Prophetess you may marry Isaiah" (the guy hasn't been talking to me, he actually ghosted me and caused me 2 have a spiritual awakening. Father God has been working on me. I've always known him. Truth be told, the day I met him when I was a little girl. As soon as I saw him Father God told me "husband". I was totally shocked because I was 5, 6, 7 years old. 1 of those ages. And yes, I hear Father God's voice. I have repented of my sins and a confessed all my sins 2 a deliverance minister. She prayed over everything. We need to dig in deep to our Bible. I believe everyone can hear from Father God. Daily prayers, scripture and worshipping I believe is required. I believe that's how Father God started talking to me again. Yeshua is the most beautiful

It sounds like you both are being attacked by demons. The Bible recommends prayer and fasting to cast out demons. Of course, telling the demons to leave in the name of Jesus Christ does wonders (I had a friend who kicked a demon out by saying the names of the Holy Family. The demon left screaming within 30 seconds. ) But if this warfare is serious, do prayer and fasting while calling upon God. All three actions will build within you a deep trust in God's grace that the demon cannot shake as God is your Rock and Shield.

@@danilaroche1156 Very good! I will say prayers for you both as well since it seems this man is heading towards destruction. Have you prayed with the other two guys together? There is a Bible verse that says "If two or three are gathered in my Name, I AM among them." Question...do you have Holy Water or Blessed Salt? I know some Christian sects don't, but my family found it effective to sprinkle it around the house as we rededicated our house to God. (My whole family got awful nightmares out of the blue so my dad went around doing his Christian, fatherly duty. It did work). Also, I believe it is wise you have stopped considering marriage right now. God needs you to focus on other, important things right now. Hey Mark, I'm not sure you'll see this or respond, but as a recent newborn in Christ female, I've been having this "dance" of a relationship with a man that although he hasn't yet converted to Christ to my knowledge, ever since I met him, we've always been equally yoked in whatever we have believed in, and since I've been growing closer to God, he seems to be doing the same. So I have a suspicion that as I evolve, there's a good chance he'll evolve with me too.. but here's the thing. We both committed grave mistakes in our relationship prior to growing closer to God... He used to drive me insane, and so I accidentally insulted him all the time, and even became a little violent when that was not the real me, he then was so scared of me apparently, that even though he had given me many chances to change my excessively aggressive nature, yet I failed every time and would get triggered over the littlest things, he ended up entertaining a woman (a jezebel type if you will) who started talking to him, pursuing him relentlessly, and getting in between us. She said lies to him about me, because I tried to seek her help to see if I could fix things with my person thinking that she was an honest new coworking friend of his, and I cried out to her asking for help with him, and she betrayed me, lied to him about her supposedly feeling scared of me and my "aggressive nature" when I couldn't have been more humble and humiliated to her, and she used what she knew about me and us, against us to finally separate us. Long story short, we fully separated, he didn't want to even give me a proper chance anymore after that and kept entertaining this jezebel. Unfortunately he got her pregnant and they had the baby. But he's been MISERABLE ever since. She has been trying to claim him as her man, by posting endless pictures with him, when he hasn't done the same with her AT ALL. And when he was with me, he basically wanted the whole world to know about us, he wanted us to do KZfaq videos and we did, and his profiles were public with tons of pictures with me. He is not like this with her at all. So he's had this profile with an anonymous name but that I know is him, and he's been sharing and pouring his heart out anonymously for me to learn what he's been going through for almost 2 years now.. For a little bit of time towards the end of 2022 I entertained this "game" of his with his secret messages because #1. I had no idea he was still with her, #2. I had NO IDEA whatsoever they had had a baby, and #3. I thought I was encouraging him to pursue me. But this all ended up backfiring because he and I constantly needed more and more and more reassurance about each other, and nothing ever moved forward. Until I learned that he was still with her, and that the reason was because they had a baby! Suddenly all the posts he was making about not being sure if to stay in a marriage because of the children, started to make sense.. since I had no idea why he was making posts about that... So I decided to stop encouraging his online "games", and went completely silent on him... I kept posting stuff not directed to him anymore, until I ended just closing my profiles and becoming fully inactive in social media, because I thought this would be the only way he'd understand that if he still loves me, he has to approach me directly and stop with the online nonsense... But recently before I closed my Facebook, I had a random discussion with someone and I know my person saw it. I was really hurt by what the other person said, and I was feeling very low and insecure for a few days, and suddenly my person started posting things to reassure me of his love and saying things like why he will always return to his true love and he doesn't say things like these often at all. It felt major and it gave me a lot of reassurance. However I've been getting deep feelings that he's feeling a little bit insecure lately, since I closed my Facebook, and he may need some type of reassurance that I'm still interested, but even though I appreciated his reassurance towards me the other day, I don't think is appropriate for me to validate him back if he is still with that other woman, and hasn't taken proper action to approach me directly in person face to face like he should. I feel it would be ignorant of me to keep entertaining any games of this kind. But due to many reasons, although this man and I have committed TONS of mistakes with the other, I've had an overpowering and supernatural feeling that this man might be the one God wants for me, and he has felt the same towards me in the past. I'm really sorry for such a long story, but if you have any words of encouragement or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much Mark 🙏♥

I used to have his number but I had to get rid of it since we reached a time and he wasn't comfy talking to me anymore As much as I enjoy his gaze, I'm not comfortable around him anymore either, I keep wondering what it is that's making him avoid me to that extent. Oh God, just randomly spawn some handsome guys passing by , I would forget my ex immediately hahaha (I'm joking don't angry at me). I obey the lord our God , ofc. The relationship has ended , what is he trying to acheive by keeping my ex in my circle? I did asked him tho , I did everything ppl do after post break up. I wish to add a thing or two to this: There are some men, me for example, that have become sick and tired of so called "godly women" that approach men openly stating that their ultimate goal is a relationship and marriage. Nothing wrong with that part, but... These same women are not godly at all, but they specifically seek out a man of God, knowing that they are very open with their hearts and lives, and will treat the woman they love to the best of their ability, including financially. These "women" know enough phrases and scripture to come off as legitimate and sincere, and try to suck their target into believing that he's found the right one. Then almost immediately she's demanding that he proves his love and ability to provide for his bride to be with gifts of hundreds to thousands of dollars. In time they, like myself burns out on the seemingly endless onslaught of artificial women of God, that makes endless promises, meanwhile demanding that he is going to be an endless source of income for her... So if a true woman of God enters his life, she has her work cut out for herself, she has to convince him that she's not one more of those treasure hunters masquerading as a spiritual woman. This may very well be why some men aren't as interested in a woman's pursuits as she may wish. Not that he's not interested, but may be thinking to himself that one more of those kind of women has found him.

I can certainly believe this, absolutely. For me, it’s Godly Christian mean who only want a certain “type”. They don’t care about a woman’s heart. As a matter of fact, their super strict criteria takes over them so a woman who genuinely had a heart for God and relies on Him (God) first for complete love and satisfaction doesn’t stand a chance. I don’t exhaust myself anymore. Whatever will be, will be. Forgive me, this is not a rant or meant to be negative, it’s not. I really appreciate your comment. 😊

Got dumped after a 3yrs. 9mo. He left after thinking about it since November of last year. Dropped the bomb last month on his b-day. Took him a whole month to follow through cuz I guess he wanted to let me down easy. I've been no contact since Sat. 06/18. Background: We have broken up before, twice, and it was because of me. I was young (19/20yrs.) And a little petty, and wanted things too quickly. Both times I reached out and apologized. I even tried to let him down with the "we should stay friends" since we still worked together. I couldn't handle seeing him be up 1st time - after 2 months I broke it off because he "wasn't acting like were close friends", he was more reserved in the beginning. As well as some other things. More background - we have been classmates since elementary school and in high school eneded up working at the same place. He moved to another state for a couple months then came back. And that's when I became interested in him. But we still weren't friends. He invited me out 1 time and I declined, later on I invited him out to hang out. We talked steady for 5 months before becoming official. And even them we still weren't "best friends", which is pretty much what I wanted off the bat. *also we don't work together anymore, he quit a while back. 2nd- was a couple months after the first. my mom told me she didn't want me dating till I was 22. And in the beginning he wasnt really a Christian (I was but not that serious, and he was carrying the title. Were both doing much better now) which was kind of a deal breaker for me but not that much as I went back. * limerinse Even more background- yes we are both Christian but he's now Baptist and I was raised charismatic/pentecostal. Some of what we believe is a deal breaker for him. Problem - if I could rate our relationship of 3 years on a scale from 1 -10, I would rate it a 9.99 (cuz no relationship is perfect). That 1% is what caused him to let go. (Marriage? We agree. (He was even ready to propose, I told him to wait till I finished school. He brought up his issue a couple days before my final.) Communication? Has inproved much more than in the past. Fun? Its always fun when hes aound (at least for me) Careers/jobs? It's compromisable as we're both still young and the fiture isnt set. Children? We almost agree. We agree on how they should be raised but not what they should believe. I said the future kids can go to his church, he pretty much said that's not good enough. If my parents and i don't drop some of our beliefs then he's ending it.) His personality - Is pretty much described in Ken's video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/arSdmLV6mZa9mok.html Pretty much to the T. My problem - as much as I love him and want to get back together, on some level I want to let him go. It's been a week since the break up. He also told me during the break up that he "wanted to stay friends" and that he still loved me. I told him during the break up that if he wanted me as a friend he would have to wait at least 3-6 months. We both said our "I'm sorry and I wish I had done better" at the end. Since he also said " I love you" I said it back. I also need to give him back something but I'm thinking of sending it back through mail. Should do that or find another way?

There is no mention of this “pursuing “ business on the scriptures. Furthermore, the notion that a man should be in the never ending pursuit of his wife is absurd. The wedding is a statement that they each may take each other for granted - literally. That’s not the same thing as not appreciating each other. A man cannot lead if he is behind his wife/girlfriend pursuing her. That is the opposite of leadership.

Then you're attracting the wrong kind of guys. If you eventually want to end up in a long-term monogamous relationship, but you aren't attracting the kind of guys that would be capable and ready for such a relationship, then you're not interacting with the right guys. Men that only want to go after women who are taken or married are high on the rush of being able to "steal" a "high quality woman" and even "steal someone else's partner". These do NOT make for good long-term partners.

When speaking with a guy keep good eye contact. Dating apps have blunted our ability to hold eye contact, therefore it’s notable when we do.

Is this about married or unmarried? I am confused Those are two totally DIFFERENT scenarios. I heard wife and I hear him talking about single people in a group. PRAY! I promise GOD gets thru to your husband way better than a nagger or a wife being his Holy Spirit!!! I speak with so many women that try to be their husbands Holy Spirit!

I will never fall for any man who will not pursue me bcos I never fall for a man until he show up and step up. Problem is some men are good to show up but soon show that that's all they are good at

The man is actually the pursuer scripturally, scriptures says he who finds a wife, has found a good thing, and has obtained favour from God. You found because you looked for. The job of a man is actually to find while that of a woman is to keep. So if a woman is not finding, it is because she is not structured to do so, and when a man can't keep is because he doesn't have the capacity to do so. So please let's understand this difference in gender and stop mincing word... Thank you

You would continue to be disappointed if you continued to wait for that man. When someone shows you who they are, believe them because it's not going to change!

Get over it and move on. Dont bother hes made his intentions or lack there of quite clear. Why waste anymore of your precious time. Keep pursuing he will use you then dump you later. Just let him get on with his thing and you get on with yours.

I don't understand the whole pursuing thing , chasing someone is not in Eastern Orthodox , we have groups of people, people take an interest in someone , man or woman , woman can ask , why can't Evangelical women? Leadership ? is a woman a child?

Idk I’m torn between looking at my singleness is God’s protection for me or he just doesn’t want to give me a spouse. When I literally have a burning passion to have a wife. I’m mature funny I’m bold confident idk man. Idk anymore and another thing is women these days are so easy to give up like oh he didn’t do this on the date I’m not going to go further like it takes two people to make it work you can’t put it all in the man’s hands you know. I want a wife and I’m patiently waiting and building myself. I also hate texting much rather talk in person.

A lion doesn't go around telling every animal it meets that it's a lion. It just is a lion. Don't just say that you're already incredible and women don't want to commit. Relationships are two way streets. It requires both partners being right for one another and being mature enough to handle such a relationship. There's also many needs and desires that each partner needs from the other; financial, nurturing, physical, sexual, ect. This is why no one will ever fully be ready for relationships. Just focus on being who you need to be and work from there.

Let women pursue who they want to pursue. Let women make decisions for themselves who they want to date. This teaching is based out of insecurity that a woman won't choose you.

no one is stopping a woman from doing things. Rather, the advice is that a woman will fail because that's not how God designed. You're free to disobey God. He allows that option. But we all reap what we sow.
