Q G dont bother, hes just another Prince Naseem hater. Every time someone write something positive about Prince Naseem, youll always have a few haters in the comment below. And the funny part is they all repeat the same bullshit over and over again, and not one of them took the time to look at all the guys Prince has beaten, because if you look at their stats, Naseem did beat the best of his category. They always shit on him for his defeat against barrera but they always forget to talk about the circumstances surrounding the fight, how Prince was dangerously sick just before the fight and how he wasnt even supposed to fight that night for his own healt! Its actually a miracle that Naseem was able to go through the whole fight without collapsing! Its always the same boring bullshit with the haters, they dont know anything about him, yet they hate him for no good reason, and sadly many of them hates him because of his ethnicity So do like i do, enjoy Prince’s immense talent and dont waste your time with the haters, they will always repeat the same bs over and over again, just ignore them! Lol Im sure a few haters will come up with “good reasons” to hate on Naseem, and they will tell us how much we dont know shit about boxing because we like Prince Naseem Hamed, just watch! Lol

Erick Gaudreault I agree. I feel the same way about irrational Mayweather haters.
@jasonvoorheesthethird4 жыл бұрын
A Unique Disposition Exactly! I may not be the biggest fan of Mayweather, i dont like his style as a boxer, but the biggest reason why im not a fan has more to do with his personality...i dont like the person, the way hes acting towards other people. But as a boxer, i can easily see how good he is in the ring, hes definitely one of the great no doubt about that. That being said, its always the same thing with the haters, they dont care if the guy is good in the ring or not, if they hate him they will hate him no matter what, they hate just for the fun of hating

that's funny because Prince Hamed was kind of a hype job himself. Everybody thought he would be a ppv star then he get destroyed by Barrera and retired at age 28, an age where many fighters don't even turn pro yet. Until Barrera, he hasn't fought any top tier fighter no top 10 not even top 20, he was arrogant, show boating, punched from weird angles, that's why he was popular but he wasn't a great fighter.
@craigseddon48845 жыл бұрын
That is not entirely true he did fight ranked guys, he was in the top 10 pound for pound in 98 and 2000 and had been lineal, world champ and #1 ranked Featherweight for four years, he fought a few ex-world champs and beat them with ease. He retired because he had a lot of issues with breaks and fractures in his hands, similar to Floyd Mayweather.

Winning is the goal, of course, still, anyone with the courage to join the fight, win or lose, deserves respect.
@arnecruz4 жыл бұрын
Boxing is a very dangerous sport. If you going to mix it up in a ring, you better have the skills and talents. Yes, respect is due to some, but not to all. To put oneself in danger know you really have no boxing talent or skill is not courageous but stupid. Stupidity does not deserve respect.
@raymondparsley74424 жыл бұрын
@@arnecruz What you describe as stupid, most would simply consider unwise..... Still, it is a contest of skill and courage, as are many endeavors.
@arnecruz4 жыл бұрын
@@raymondparsley7442 Do not get me wrong. I am not name calling when I say stupid. When you do things wrong because you do not have the knowledge, it is called ignorance. Now if you have knowledge and you still do it, that is stupid. Some of these hyped jobs knew they where only hyped up. Like the one fought Iron Mike. Why did he do it? Because he was brave? No! Because of the money! Yes, it requires courage to face the likes of Tyson, but should I respect him? You respect that?
@raymondparsley74424 жыл бұрын
@@arnecruz I really can't disagree, except to say that money motivates us all, no one works for free.... with the exception of certain charity organizations... Where the reward comes with the giving, the helping of others.... moral servitude if you will. I once served in the Army with a sergeant, also an ex Philadelphia cop, who called Boxing the "Poor Man's Sport"... which brings us to your point of money motivation, and even some of the "stupidity" that goes with it. Even so, there is always that courage factor... of taking it while trying to dish it out. Of course, courage and skill are not all that's deserving of respect, there is also the character of the person.... This is why I personally have no respect for Mike Tyson, especially after he bit of a chunk of Holyfield's ear.... The man should have never been allowed back in the ring, but then, he was a golden goose for the industry... Not the sport, but the money making end of it. I must admit, feeling a certain joy watching Lennox Lewis give Mike the beating.... he surely deserved.

Agreed. If Lacy shows up when you Google 'Boxing Hype Job', then Patel surely is returned when you Google "Bitch"...or "Ho". (Might be a few others, but you get the pernt....) Seriously, he is the definition of that. The fact he won't even get down with real talent proves this. It's not his inability to play nice...if he was good enough, networks would want him.

I blame Naseem Hamed for Prince Patel. So many Yemeni, Pakistani or Indian Brits thought they could just act arrogant like Naz and put very little effort into training and just expect to be a star. The difference was Naz could actually back it up with actual boxing talent and they couldn't

Pat Tanackered agreed. His (Patel’s) persona doesn’t represent the British character in my opinion. I think fighters like Henry Cooper, Tony Sibson and Lennox Lewis are true gentlemen of the sport, amongst others.

vin 950 mate, I 100% agree. Thing with Ali, was that he had wit, intelligence and charisma. I don’t think anyone has come close to emulating that, try as they might.These days, those guys you mention just seem obnoxious, although I think Jones jnr is a pretty decent chap actually. I don’t think either MMA or boxing needs it. Good fighters and good fights are the key. Thanks for your message, some good thoughts there.

Greg Phancenek True but Uzzy Ahmed has become a legendary meme, comic relief and had somewhat of a career with 19 fights losing 8 or 9 I think. Pretty sure he made a few grand with the fights, meme and the merchandise that followed. Yes there was merchandise 😂😂😂 Prince Poo-tel didn't even have a career and just won the UBO Intercontinental title...heard of it? No. Me neither. 😂😂😂

Haha! Tysons grin during the McNeely pre fight presser says it all. That poor bastard had no clue what a boxing glove could do with iron Mike's hand inside of it. I need to go back and watch that fight to be sure but I don't recall McNeely landing a single punch. Giving a boxer a tune up fight is one thing but whoever is responsible for putting that poor sap in the ring with Tyson is nothing short of a cruel prick.

Thing about Audley Harrison was deeper(and more frustrating than the video makes out. So I'll fill in some blanks ^_^ The thing about him was, he would always look like he fell off, or had no aggression whatsoever.. and then he'd come back and give people faith again, and then it was an endless circle, till the Haye fight. Once Danny Williams beat him, people thought that was it. Then Audley Harrison came back and destroyed Danny Williams looking refocused. He continued onward looking very good, and then Michael Sprott knocked him out in a fight he was winning. 8:23 Then people thought "well the dream is over." He then came back against Sprott, injured his shoulder and fought on with one arm and looked to be on his way to a loss, but then he landed that amazing shot 8:09 And people thought "wow he showed heart, came back and won that fight, maybe NOW is the time." But then he went on and underperformed again, but I think he was officially done in terms of his 'bounce backs' once Haye beat him, and then for sure once Wilder beat him. But it was a lot more complicated(and frustrating) than just him getting knocked out.
