I would like to see 1. Bouchard and Thatcher families. They could come for pre wedding plans and the wedding. 2. Arthur for Fiona ( He could be reoccurring. Kayla is gone sometimes so maybe fiona can go see him at those times. 3. Jeanette would be nice but I would like her to be around Henry’s age. 4. I would like Carson to come back for a couple episodes.- he can come for emergency surgery for someone. It would be nice to get a bit more closure for him and Faith. I personally like Faith and Nathan.

JANNETTE IS LUCAS'S SECRET SISTER OR COUSIN !!!!! after all, Elizabeth said last season that Lucas had explained all about it to her, and she didn't seem jealous at all, I would expect her to be at least a little jealous if she was a widower anywhere near Lucas's age. and she seems to be a bit more adventurous than an older lady would be. after all Lucas never told us that Gustave was his Cousin. also Lucas looks nothing like Helen, or what if... he was adopted but they couldn't adopt his natural sister so that's why he always felt lonely. sorry if this is a bit wild but i love throwing wild theories out there!

Mei wasn't married, remember? No husband or fiancee for her. I would love to meet someone from her family, who is less modern than she is - who can reveal something of her heritage and Mei's growing up years, personal background to the people Mei is close to in Hope Valley. Good for Allie and Nathan, any of the school kids. Perhaps a nephew can come along with her. Also, Nathan's mama. I want to meet this lady, who's been through so much. And have her meet the people her son and granddaughter reside with, have made a home with. So we can hear of Nathan as a young boy and find out more about what happened to Colleen. I want Allie to find out about Dylan. That's coming. Does he break out of Granfield Penitentiary? Who knows? But that would help resolve a situation that is still on the writers' minds. And any fan who loves Nathan and Allie. Of course I want a redemption of sorts for Dylan - perhaps a deathbed confession. Last on my list, Faith's dad. I want him to come see how well she's doing. To be proud of her.

I agree with you on your three picks. I really want to meet Martin, Janette and Minnie’s dad. I think that Martin and Janette should be at Lucas and Elizabeth’s wedding. I can picture Janette with Henry for some reason. I am not sure yet about Nathan. I would like to see Minnie’s dad see what Joseph does.

I'd love it if Lucas Bouchard's dad was John Tinker (after all, who knows the character better?)!

The only character on your list that I think would have a meaningful impact on storylines is Minnie's Father, and it would be a natural continuation of Joseph and Minnie's S9 storyline. Jeanette would be interesting in terms of answering questions about previous storylines, but I really don't want to see someone else brought in as a potential "Love interest" for any of the currently single cast members. I might be in a minority opinion, but I would prefer a Lucas and Elizabeth wedding that focuses solely on them(Travel wedding) or a small Hope Valley wedding with just their closest friends and perhaps a cameo appearance by whatever established family member that would be available(Lucas's Mother from S8 and/or Elizabeth's parents).

I agree with all the names you mentioned. I would love to see Jeanette because I was thinking she was closer to Lucas's age. She could brag on all the wonderful work Lucas did to help get ride of bad guys. That would make Nathan really think differently about Lucas. I would like to see one of the investors in the oil company come and it could be a female for Henry. I think Henry is going to get cleared from the charges because Henry brought a lot of mineral rights around town, and Arthur mentioned minerals to Fiona so I believe that will come into play at some point. I would love for Minnie's father to come and see how respected Joseph is in HV. I want both parents of Lucas and Elizabeth to come especially Elizabeth's aunt. Nathan is just getting back to his former self before Jack died, so he needs to work on himself before getting a love interest. I hope Arthur comes back because he can help with the paper since Rosemary has another focus, her baby. I want Carson to at least come back and have closure or he and Faith open a hospital. I love your predictions. I can't wait for S10!!!

Yes Martin is on the top of my list. I would also like to meet Minnie's family. I have often wondered if Minnie's father is white. I would also like to add to the list one of Hickam's sisters.

Helen Bouchard + Richard. It would be nice to see if there's a reconciled relationship after she left HV to attempt it. Also see the dynamics of Lucas and his father. I love the actress who plays Helen. If she's in it, movie or series, I will watch it because she's so good at what she does. I like the lingering glances that Nathan and Faith seemed to be sharing towards the ends of the season. I think they have more chemistry than any one else. I'd like to see how that plays out because they both seem to be in the same place in their lives. Maybe that develops more in 10 and finalizes in 11. I think it would be nice to bring in someone for Mike. Someone who's as sweet, caring, and socially challenged as he is. Maybe bring back Christopher & fiance (Lee's niece) for short visit to support Henry in his time of need. I hate that he's alone after his prayer with Joseph! Made me cry! Maybe Gustav & Mei- both "chemists" 1 in the kitchen and the other in the pharmacy. Who knew Gustav could play the accordion.....Mei did. It be nice to see if there's something there. Gustav is turning out to be quite a keeper character.

Perhaps Lucas and Janette's deceased husband were good friends so he naturally became friends with Janette.

I agree with everything you said. I also think we need to see Fiona's ex-fiance. He has been brought up once or twice and I can't help but wonder if he is the reason Fiona is so closed up to relationships. Not really someone we can meet, but I am curious to know more about Colleen, so It would be interesting to have Nathan speak more about her and maybe have a flashback?! Idk!!

Hello, Roxanne. I agree with your choices of who to bring to HV in Season 10. I'd like both, the Bouchard's & Thatcher's & Janette, to be at the wedding. I thought Janette was an older lady & now I'm thinking she'd be a good character to be interested in Henry. She had children so maybe one could arrive with her. Maybe a son who could get interested in the oil business & want to work with Henry. As for couples, I think Hickam & Faith are cute together. Sooo excited now knowing we're getting a Season 10. 👏👏👏

Hi Roxanne! I have no must haves, but I'm (now) kinda wishing for Janette to come and be the person for Nathan. For all the reasons you spoke of. Imagine the dynamic she would have with (of course) Lucas, then enter an intrigued Nathan. Law & Order, couple friendships and romance. I was very pro Mei and Nathan. But it has lessoned.

I would love to meet Nathan's mother! that would be fun. We don't even know her name at this point. Lol, not Jeanette and Nathan! The last thing he needs is another shifty woman in his life.

Yes to all of the above, but no mention of Rosemary’s family 😊 ? I would love to meet her parents. Siblings too if she has any. I’m hoping to meet her family in season 10 since she is having a baby. At the very least, I can see Rosemary’s mom coming to help her and Lee before and after the baby is born. Also, what about Lee’s mom? Is she still alive? I know that his dad died, but I don’t know if we’ve heard anything about his mom. Lee is the middle child of three (no other siblings have been mentioned anyway besides his older sister and his younger brother) . Maybe his mom and/or sister will come to help out also. And of course, my #1 character I’m excited to meet in season 10 is Lee and Rosemary’s baby. I have a feeling they are having a girl but we’ll see. They would be the perfect girl parents but a boy would be wonderful too. 😊❤️

I’m still undecided on having too many new characters brought ‘to life’ in season 10. The mystery of who and what they are adds to the drama. I would really like to see the Thatchers - in Hamilton at Christmas for the Bouchard wedding. Too much to ask for? LOL

I can see Martin Bouchard looking like an older handsome version of Lucas. I never caught Lucas' father's name, so I never knew his name is Martin. Meeting Jeanette would be cool, especially as a love interest for Nathan, not sure I would go for Henry though as Henry is being punished to the full extent of the law for blowing up the mine, would be kind of hard for him to have a love interest while he's in jail. Just my thoughts though. And yes, we should meet Minnie's parents and why not Joseph's parents too? Did you know that Joseph and little James Canfield are father and son in real life?

i really want Jeannette to come to Hope Valley I think she and Lucas are extremely close I think she is closer to Lucas's age and she's an independent, skilled in fencing or weaponry, provocative in dress & communication, fluent in French and English, I think either she or Lucas at one point had romantic feelings towards each other but were afraid to disrespect her late husbands memory by acting on them and they agreed to be good friends but they playfully flirt with each other openly I dont think she should be paired with anyone her heart still hasn't healed I said this before I think Rachelle LeFerve would make a great Jeannette she has great energy , she's beautiful and speaks fluent French !!!!
