As a teen with dwarfism, I can relate to this alot. Half my family is below average height and I get picked on. I have this kid at my school who can pick me up and throw me like a basketball with almost no problem.

As someone who grew up being the shortest in any room, and am now about average height, I genuinely cannot get used to people who are significantly shorter than me because it legitimately is so shocking. But I have been on the other side of that coin, so I stay quiet about it as much as possible, at least in person. I get that it is a bit of an "I am aware" for the short person but for the relatively tall person it is very much a novelty

Today I learned you shouldn’t yell at children for being short. They can’t help it and their parents will get mad at you for breaking into their house at four in the morning. A important skill short people could need is woodworking. You'd be surprised how much a saw and a lot of spite can fix. Lowering how high a coffee table is, making foldable stairs that allow you to get to the top shelf without assistance, *sawing a tall person's legs off, and permanently showing how many problems short people have to deal with cause no-one made custom sized furniture or extendo-arms.* or just to make a cool lookin wooden owl, the possebileties are limitless!

As someone on the opposite end of the height spectrum (5'9" at age 14), I seem to have the opposite problems. When trying to buy jeans, I always have to find the longs in the smallest size possible because I have a tiny waist but really long legs. Its so bad that only one store near by has longs in size 0, and even that just barely fits anymore. Also having people constantly ask if you play basketball or volleyball, even if they're complete strangers and you were just minding your own business. It also tends to be old people in my experience who think its ok to harass us about playing sports. Most of the time they don't give up after a simple "no" either. One time my mom got asked by a short old lady in a thrift store. She was tired of being starred at and asked all the time, so she asked the lady "do you play mini golf?" and something else I can't remember. The old lady shut up and was shook by what my mom said. I think that was the first time the lady heard it from the other side of it. Thats the kind of thing I want to do at some point later in life when getting asked if I play basketball.

It makes life even for tall people nice! :D Also; i am sorry for leaning on the heads of shorter people. I normally make it up by picking them up when i give them a bear hug. All things perfectly balanced, the best hugs in exchange for back problems being used as a tall person kick stand.
