I was trying to make plans to move close to my girl who lives in another state. Instead of her getting excited or getting me enthusiastic about this life change she discourages me and routinely shuts her phone off or ignores me when I am feeling down. Yet when she feels down or needs to reach me any time of day, I have been there for her. If I found someone worthy close to me I would drop her instantly.

I kinda had enough of her sh*t, but I decided to just act confident and fun around her instead of letting it drag me down, because someone had to turn this negative spiral into a positive one and it wasn't going to be her. This works with a couple of days delay, but it definitely works! At first, she starts testing (is he for real? is it just an act?) by giving you even more sh*t, ignoring you, making provocative remarks... But when she notices she can't rock your boat, that's when things suddenly start to improve. Now she contacts me more, we have way more sex than before, and she actually started getting jealous of other girls in my life (before, I was the jealous one). She even gave ME shit for not sending her enough texts! (women love double standards, but the point is: the situation got completely reversed) In the end, it all comes down to confidence and emotional self control: whatever you do, don't let her rock your boat. Just take it like a man, with humor and perspective. Be fun. And ALWAYS remember there is more fish in the sea, that'll help you maintain the right attitude. Good luck, bro! Well I wasn't gonna give her any attention since it looked like she didn't really care. Well today is the same, wasn't giving her any attention. Now I just got home and a friend of mine (her kind of bestfriend) sends me a snap with ".....(her name) asked me if you are mad at her and if she did anything wrong). I just opened it and just said: huhh why. But I was thinking ilke why are you asking your bf after I leave. I self find it actually even more annoying if its going via via than telling it to me personally when I am at "school" and not if i'm home and doing all that text nonsense since I preffer talk over text. Now I just texted her back and am waiting for a reply. At the end i'm just gonna act as usual and don't be someone who would get mad because your girlfriend is acting weird.

It also doesn’t hurt to not give away your commitment too quickly or easily no matter how much you want to. Just keep cool, be kind and allow yourself to enjoy their company for what it is. Get to know them and give yourself space to pull back or even break off if you feel uneasy. Easier said than done, but it works.

This is really good advice. I'm going through the very exact thing he's talking about. I've been seeing someone for 4 months now and have completely backed away, cutting off all contact and have heard nothing from her side. Agree with what u saying man, every time try to hold a conversation with her or try to get a her attention she just bails out on me, "always" something to do or brings up excuses. And sometimes before going to bed short breif text like " gn going to sleep now" when we usually say " love u sleep well" and a kiss emjoi in the end. But now it's not happening. If you mirror a woman's actions by pulling away like she does, in my opinion, one of two things will happen. 1, she will, as stated in the video, think of you in a positive way and come back in a stronger manner. Or 2, she will already have found someone else to begin "talking" too and your goose my lonely and uncertain friend is surely and wholefully cooked. The hard part is being careful to ensure one happens and one does not.

My current girlfriend has residual issues from a previous 22 year marriage. I feel there is a disproportionate response when she deals with current situations. I have addressed it (with love, compassion and empathy needles to say), she is now not responding to me (admitted my feelings had validity). I have sent a cpl of messages. One to let her know I loved her, to reiterate my views where not aimed to make her feel less. Another to say good night. Then one this morn9ng to say hello and share my plans. I asked what she had planned, to prompt a response. Nothing. I will now leave it be. I think I am comfortable with that choice based on my attempts so far. As in if I have made the wrong assumption, it is fair to suggest it was due to her treatment, not my interpretation of it. Good luck men...

That is good advice. I am also going through the same situation. Sometimes she pulls, and sometimes she comes back. It is so frustrating that it has started to affect my mental health. In the past, I've caught her giving her number to other guys and going out on dates. At this point, I doubt she thinks of me as her boyfriend anymore. I am on vacation at the moment, and she suddenly stopped responding to me one night; I can see that she is online. Chances are she went on a date and afraid to face/answer any of my question. It is too much for me now. I am going to end this untrustworthy relationship with her.

ok but what to do with a toxic girflriend? My gf always blames me for everything bad in her life, always recalls the time we was yelling at eachother, that i left her alone in night at the city etc which those situatiuons hapenned when we were drunk and it was maybe 3 times where she was the one that started it. I'm in love with someone.. We've been together for one year in a long distance relationship. At first she used to give me a lot of time , her focus, her attention. I could see her efforts. But now everything has just changed . She stays busy all the day and at night she is like I'm tired i wanna sleep. I know she loves me but i also know sometimes she ignores me . We got only Saturday and Sunday where we get some time to chat with each other, Spend some time together but today the same has happened again, I asked her to stay online so that we can chat and again she said I'm tired and wanna sleep. Hello I met her online we talking almost 4 MONTHS and she planning to visit me this coming Oct. But everything changed. She change a lots and told me not coming to visit becoz of money prblem but iam not convinced.. What should I do.? Do I need to continue with her. This is so hard to do sometimes but I guess is just part of a relationship. My girlfriend has been super stressed and overwhelmed with work etc and we’re long distance rn so I always look forward to talking to her cause we don’t get to be together physically and she’s been so distant but assured me that everything is just fine and that she’s just very stressed but man it is not a good feeling ;(

This depends on the girl, I personally notice I tend to get like this when I'm insecure in the relationship because of broken trust. It's important to maintain proper communication with your S/O and always build on trust. At least in my experience.

I’m having this problem at the moment but I’m not sure if it’s because of me or because of the fact that we’re sitting a level exams now. For now, I’m going to assume it’s me as she didn’t have a problem with it earlier. But, we don’t really get to see each other as we live quite far away and the only times we do is when we will be at college and we can’t do this anymore as we have left. I have tried many times to get her to sleep round my house but she always gives excuses. When we do meet up, it’s always with other friends too and it’s not just me and her. Most of these times she doesn’t even acknowledge that I’m there. She cares more about impressing her friends than me. This started after I told her that I loved her on her birthday. I posted a snap chat saying happy birthday today and that I loved her (I am aware that this may have been a bad time to say it but we’re going out I was going to say it at some point). She ignored the messaged and didn’t say it back. Then she started getting all distant. I am asking for advice on what I should do and if the advice the guy has said actually works because I’m not sure. Thank you.

My girl is doing this for the second time within the last 3 weeks. Got mad one night because I mentioned "those are fake" referencing a womans breasts on a show. And she got mad! Then got quiet and distant and it's been like this for the past couple days. I did NOTHING wrong!!!! And I refuse to either appologize or admit to any wrong doing. I even reached out a few times and I get nothing really. Now I'm just pissed off. I'm pretty sure she thinks il be my usually forgiving accepting self. But not this time. I'm done. I kinda hope she just leaves. Because things are great when shit like this dont happen. It's not worth it. I know she really likes me. So its gonna be a slap in the face when I tell her to kick fuckjng rocks.
