Which are the best circular needles for Magic Loop sock knitting?

While usually I use circular needles with metal tips, this time I needed the tips with more grip to make it more comfortable when working with somewhat slippery yarns - so the bamboo and wood were interesting to try.
This video is not sponsored. All the observations are my personal experience that I decided to share in order to make it easier for my knitting friends to select the best circular needles for knitting socks before buying.

Hello from Istanbul, Turkey. I always knit my socks with Addi Flexi Flips. Before flexi flips came out, I used to knit with 5 needles. Thank you for the very informative video.

How long does the cable need to be for socks (adults)? I am a mere beginner mit magic loup

From 32 inch (80cm) or 36 inch (91.5cm) to knit one sock at a time, to 40 inch (100cm) to knit two socks at the same time on one needle. In this video I used 40 inch (100cm).
