Here's the fix to strengthen the $27 Harbor Freight creeper...... when it's new drill 1 hole on the edge between the caster bolts (total of 6 holes) and fill it with "Great Stuff" expanding foam. $5 at Home Depot. I did mine and I'm 6'5" at 310 lbs. Works like a charm, it's solid as a rock, does not flex, and hasn't added any weight.

@@DrewsBackYardMechanics Yup! Mine is still working like a charm. If I had to do it over again, I would simply flip it over and drill 1 hole 2" from each caster. Spread the foam around & fill the entire cavity. Work smarter not harder! Let the foam expand & dry for at least 1 day, and you're done. I love the hack & I love saving $$$ !!!! I'm just a weekend mechanic & see this lasting my entire life. Thank you Drew.

@@superslyko123 I emptied two cans in mine and although about half a can came back out even with ducktape sealing the holes I don't regret a thing. You can tell how much more dense it is now, it feels like a YETI brand creeper!

A few weeks ago I purchased a Jeepers Creeper (94102) by Lisle to replace a Pro-Lift C-2036D Grey 36" Z-Creeper Seat, the Pro-Lift being a piece of junk, wheels constantly coming out of it. I also purchased a Powerbuilt 2-in-1 Rolling Creeper Seat and a pair of knee pads as well.

I am surprised... wow, No comments. Thanks for the reviews. I have the autocraft for years and I was about to buy the pro lift. I think I will go for the best rolling capability one.

My pleasure also harbor freight has some Daytona ones now that look pretty sturdy as well but unfortunately they have the smaller Wheels

How is your Garage Kingdom creeper doing? Or it's clone? Do you still like the easy rolling? Question: If you are trying to get leverage on a bolt, does the easy rolling become a liability because you have nothing to pull against?

So I ended up buying my cousin Cornwell version which is basically the same as the Garage King just has a softer mat, and I love it, but either you have to use your foot or hand to hold yourself in place to break loose a tight bolt, but I have the Milwaukee M12 Stubby Impact, so it is less of a issue for me, where as someone else might struggle with that, but for rough concrete or a bigger person that is the best version for me.

How long is the padding on the blue and black creeper’s? I have a long back, was wondering the actual padding length and width. Don’t care how long the it is with the wheels just the padding dimensions. Thanks in advanced.

I found that plastic red with led light biult in that you said its not good so iam worry about buying this now 😁 and is it nessesary? For me I think a piece of card bord will be ok if that one is not moving

That, and sometimes and for some ppl, they do some work outside maybe changing a tire under light rain,.. I don’t have creeper; (for now), but every time I put a cardboard to lay on or get on the knees, I don’t feel It do anything different.. I don’t think it’s very necessary to have one because lots of ppl don’t work under cars on daily basis, unless it’s a proficiency you have, and I should say this that I’d expect some convenience/comfort considering a mobilization of a moving cushion on casters more of what I could get with a price of cardboard 🤷🏻‍♂️

You can buy replacement wheels and bushings at Northern Tool and Equipment. Those are the same creepers just different names. I guarantee they are made in the same plant.

Yeah my problem was that the plastic broke where the bracket goes that holds the wheel

Mine broke along the seems, wheels catch and bend the plastic. It’s too thin and two bolts aren’t enough to prevent the failure.

Someone mentioned putting great stuff in it, near where the wheels are where it's hollow help strengthen it I think that would help make it more the win, but the small tires for anyting with cracks and crevices or rough concrete I still like the bigger tired ones

Well everyone is going to pick on me but dogbone is the best way to go no comparison , and it’s expensive but I’d say it would be about the same price as them 4 lower priced creepers lol

I honestly was considering the dog bone and I do like that they're made in the USA the only downside is I did not like that the wheels were not bigger I feel like they would get caught on rough concrete but if there's enough interest I consider buying one and doing comparison against them

Yeah I think the 4 1/2 or 5 inch wheels are pertty good
