Hi Doody, great video, fun to watch! I also have both locking knives and my After Hours has a slight recurve, too. Spoke with Ben, seems that‘s due to how the grind came out of the factory. Did you mean to say you‘d also like to see a Vampire Jack as a locking folder? I think that‘d be super great! 🤩

Wow, the cut test should be interesting then, a recurve will affect the cut for sure, which way I’m curious to know.

i'd see a Vampire Jack as an automatic. But i'm not sure that Ben engages in a way more complicated design, and he would probably make the right choice not to do this.

Really like the blade shape of the midnight jack, the low tip drop point / spear point blade shape is so useful. I'd be interested in a locking version of that knife.

Great review as always! The After Hours Jack was my first Jack Wolf purchase. If i had caved earlier I would have bought the Gunslinger since it scratches that same itch. I also have zero wharncliff/sheepsfoot style blades so this checks that box. The hand rub satin blade is a must for me, visually and maintenance wise it’s superior to the belt satin. In fact in looking at the Midnight Jacks the style that looks to sell out fastest is the Chaos color scheme but it’s only in belt satin, so that immediately took it off my list. With Jack Wolf it comes down to Slip Joint or Locking, esthetics, and use case. Find the one that scratches your itch the quality seems to be there every time. Gunslinger is definitely sexy and I would LOVE to have one, but that After Hours blade and handle shape really does it for me. Thanks!

Hi ! Nice dilemna. Thanks for sharing the talking. I didn't choose, and got the two knives. I'm enjoying both for different reasons and different uses. I prefer a little bit the Gunslinger because it was the first locking JWK (in my heart too), and the gunstock pattern is more exotic here in Europe, as much as this kind of clip point blades.

Sweet video man! I’ve carried both and honestly each one has its pros and cons. If I had to choose, I’d take the gunslinger for many reasons which you listed as well.

It’s funny I was watching some of your membership videos. And it’s like you invented the frag pattern, CJRB knife before it came out. now I’m seeing the Civi Howl with the angle lines on another CJRB
