I guess it's something like that. When someone powerful comes from East they are super powerful or have super high bounty. But then North produces constantly a lot high power or high bounty people.

yeah sort of like this, it's not to say powerful pirates can't COME from the east blue (roger and luffy are 2 great examples) it's just that on average, the pirates that come from the east are the weakest of the bunch (when it comes to bounties that is.).

One Piece Battle Royale: A massive series, created by Tekking and campaigned by at least 5 other KZfaqrs who are big into One Piece. One person in charge of each Blue, one for Marines, one for Revolutionaries & the rest. You could do it by group affiliation or by geographical affiliation. I'm thinking 6 is the magic number but you could do more! This could be the next one piece D&D, in terms of length and or popularity!

Okay. So kind of related to this video but not really. It was revealed that Heracles was from the South. And the kingdom that Kuma's from, is also in the south. Now, Heracles came to the Boing archipelago on an expedition. And like with Nolan, we can assume that the funding for this trip came from a royal family. So, is that why Kuma sent Ussop to the Boing? He knew that Heracles would be there? Because this is something I've wondered before. Most of the places that Kuma chose, lines up perfectly with the individual SH. The one that I never understood was Ussops. Eh, just a random thought at 2 am.....

I like trying to explain how Kuma knew where to send everyone, but Chopper, Nami and Brook are still a total mystery. Sanji, Robin, Franky, Luffy and Zoro all make total sense.

@@davidwilson6577 I like thinking about it too. And the way I see it, all of these places had to have been visited by Kuma at some point. Now, the Torino kingdom is in the South. And while it may not be the only ideal place for Chopper to learn medicine, I can see the reasoning. I mean, it's much less of a long-shot than sending Luffy to Amazon Lilly & expecting Boa to fall in love. I'm guessing Kuma also visited Weatheria at some point in his journey. I mean, Kuma does travel a lot. But Brook is the other SH I never got. I get how Kuma would know where that island is. But how did he expect it to benefit someone like Brook?! I would love to know Kuma's reasoning behind that. Or perhaps Kuma was stumped seeing a skeleton & sent him to a randomly selected place, :)

I wouldn't be surprised if Kuma is the most travelled character in the whole series. Pre-robot he was maybe just bouncing around from place to place exploring the world.

The East Blue is considered the weakest ocean most probably because, even though you have strong characters like Garp, Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Roger, Dragon and so on, there are tons more weak criminals that drag their overall strength down, while the other blues, on average, has far more higher bounty criminals. Even during when Luffy was first given a bounty, it was stated that the average bounty of a East Blue pirate was just a couple of millions, so that is why they are considered the weakest. A few exception does not change the rule.

I guess the basis is considering the overall population of pirates, criminals, bandits, and whatever. Not the powerful outliers that aren't even active within the east blue. And honestly, Mihawk's statement was so vague. Saying something as strong or weak is so broad cause in what aspect was he saying the East was the weakest?

@@Martin-yh7vi Most probably based on the average strength of a criminal in the East. Remember that before Luffy and gang, and Dragon being known to be from the East, the strongest known in the East was Garp, Yasoppu and Roger. Don't know bout you, but there are tons more strong criminals and Marines from the other seas then from the East.

This actually makes a lot of sense, especially with Hawkeye saying the East Blue is CURRENTLY the weakest, because if you think about it, at the time of the Baratier Arc, the net bounties and stuff for the East Blue would have been extremely low, maybe only a billion total. Since the current 8 billion is made up of 7.3 billion just from Luffy, Zoro and Roger. So yeah, this makes a lot of sense that at the time it was the weakest, but it produces some of the strongest.

@@godcode6296 That's not how that works though, just because SOME stronger people come from there doesn't mean it's still not the weakest of the seas. Just because you've got some utter monsters to come out of it doesn't make it the strongest. It's the weakest sea because most of the people living there are utterly weak compared to the rest of the world. A sea is not five people, it's the general number of people.

One way of ranking (probably): Give every character a number between 1 and 100 which is a potential interpretation of their strength. And than calculate the median and bam you know which blue is the strongest

The East Blue is the weakest simply because, the East is like a hibernating bear. If you leave it be nothing much comes of it, but hit it with a stick and it rouses from its sleep.

You should do a video were you estimate the bounties of characters from other anime/manga if they were part of One Piece World. Echidna from Re:Zero, Chrollo and Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter, All For One from MHA, Madara from Naruto. Etc.

I would LOVE to see you do a video about a "Role-Reversal" One Piece World. In which every Pirate is a Marine, and every Marine is a Pirate (and you could also switch the Revolutionaries with the CP Units). A complete reverse situation where Luffy has to make his way up the Marine Hierarchy, taking out 'Bad Marines' and increasing his rank (Fleet Commander Ore Wa Naru). The Yonko could switch places with the Admirals, the Vice Admirals could switch with the Warlords, etc. Just switch the Alignments of every character in the series and see what kind of world we've got. With your mazing research and data-gathering skills, I know you can do it :)

Here is the difference between South Blue and East Blue Luffy with his 30 million bounty was the most wanted pirate in the East Blue and he left to the Grand Line immediately after that. Doflamingo was still actively doing piracy in the North Blue with his 340 million bounty and even stealing Celestial Dragon gold. We don't even know if he was the most wanted there.

I think Akainu's bounty would be at least 612 million berries, if not this then 700 million berries. Garp would be either 4 or 5 billion berries. In my opinion, the East Blue is the strongest sea because many of the most strongest people in the world come from there. Garp and Roger together defeated the Rocks pirates and both of them are from the East Blue. Dragon who is currently the most wanted man is from there. Big Mom and Whitebeard are from the Grand Line, Kaido is probably from there as well. The only emperor who was not born in the Grand Line is Shanks.

Hey tekking! I had the same idea about a whole brawl between the blues. However, to dumb it down, you could rank every month of birth for the characters and have them brawl out. Ex. jan, feb, mar, etc. Just rank the months of the year by who is born in them and have them brawl! I think that's a cool idea.
