That is one of the most beautiful watches produced by any watch company at any price point. Period.

What makes the blue so unique of all sports watches I’ve owned, is this blue changes colors under different types of lighting. Indoors it tends to have more of a black look while in well lit rooms or outside it has a beautiful royal blue color. It’s unlike anything I’ve owned and it’s so unique I love it I’ve been wearing it now for 2 1/2 years every day this planet ocean is the best watch for the money you can buy.

Of these I prefer the blue. But I also looked at the orange bezel with white dial, and that’s what I got.

Hi Brad, to answer your question, I'd go for the blue version, and the 89XX movements are excellent... It's a tad thick, but it is really capable...

I prefer the older and thinner 2500 PO, but there is no denying these are gorgeous. I would go with blue between these choices.

Great watches! I love my "Oreo" GMT PO!! Don't need to worry about the thickness. They wear very well with that compact Lug to Lug!!

I recently started going towards the blue dial route. Such a beautiful tone colour.

This was the exact choice I had to make 2yrs ago. For me, as nice as the black is, I just felt that the blue with orange accents worked better than black with orange. 2yrs down the line I'd still make the same choice, so it was definitely the right one for me.

I recently picked up the black and orange PO on rubber strap, so it would have to be the blue for me if I were to add another :) Considering it's a 43.5mm watch, it wears great on a smaller wrist, but I typically tend to wear it underneath a loose jumper, as it is impossible to wear under a long sleeve shirt. Currently my favourite watch in my small collection. Great roundup as ever Brad!

Those POs are nice, however prefer gen 1 with 2500 movement. Highly recommend PO as an all-around great sports watch. Thanks for the video.

Both look fantastic. Slight edge to the blue. And I like the 43. No need for me for the 39! Come the new year, I'll be stopping out to see you. I see either a Planet Ocean or a Speedy in my near future.

I owned the black 39.5mm version. Absolutely adored it….only problem was the bezel…the triangle was always half a click off and the detent was lacking

I have the white and orange one. It's awesome! The lung to lung distance is also great. Between these 2 I would go with the blue one.

Get the blue. The good thing about the blue is in light it is the deepest brightest blueist ocean blue I've ever seen. And in dull light it kind of looks black or very dark blue. So you get best of all world's. It's the one I have

I‘ve got the older version in 42 mm Titanium. This watch is so comfortable, thick but not heavy. Only 122g in my size! The clasp unfortunately lacks the quick adjust function but it is slimmer and shorter and has the same width like the bracelet. The newer clasp just looks way too bulky.

Gotta be the blue, with the color black I would go for that wave pattern dial of SMP300 for more fun.

Black is my first choice but the blue is stunning and can look very dark in different lighting. Tried the blue on today but black was out of stock at the jewelers. The in store lighting made it hard to define the shade of blue. I needed more natural light. Feeling uncertain but what a watch! Wanting one for my 50th birthday

Nice review. Has the blue on the P.O. always been that vibrant. In pictures it looks much more gray, but that could be an older model. I like blue, but not when it's overpowering. Thanks.

Dont get caught up in the dimensions. Try this watch on, it is one of the best wearing watches I have ever worn.
