I purchased this refrigerator 9 months ago, and I really like the refrigerator. The refrigerator overall has ample space with plenty of drawers and compartments. This includes top of the refrigerator shelving, 3 middle pull out drawers, two slide cases, a huge pull out drawer with settings for meats and cheeses, cold drinks, assorted items, and fruits and vegetables. A finally the deep freezer, which has two slide out drawers, three deep compartments and a slim compartment to store frozen pizza size boxes, and other items. You'll love, love, love the freezer! This refrigerator does not disappoint!
Refrigerator description: Whirlpool 26.2 cubic foot 4 door 36 inch French Door Refrigerator with exterior drawer. It is also fingerprint resistant and stainless steel. The model number is WRX986SIHZ.

I brought this refrigerator and I love it. I have to agree with the shelves situation of tall items however having the tall items on the right side for me is ok. I was able to adjust all the shelves. the containers i have was able to place in the refrigerator with no problem for left overs and still have space. The ice maker isnt loud. The ice bucket isn't super big but it holds good enough ice in the bucket. The middle shelf I like we us it for drinks. The drinks are cold. The freezer is great. Ivas well like the draws and the space for pizza. I agree wish the middle divider moves more but over all I love the refrigerator. I had no issue with the refrigerator and I had it for 2 months now. I did a lot of research to find a refrigerator that fits our needs and i looked at a lot refrigerator. I came across your video and send your video. Thank you for making this video. It help us in making my decision. We are a family of 3 and it works for us.

I have this same fridge as an upgrade when my 3 door had issues after 6 months! I absolutely love it but you’re right about the tall items-not really any space without removing shelves

Bought this exact fridge from Lowe’s a couple days ago. Waiting for delivery. Replacing an LG that only lasted a little over 5 years. Compressor failed. Did a lot of research before deciding on this one. Whirlpool and GE are the longest lasting fridges on the market and have great reviews. Thanks for the video review 😊

So why didn't you get the compressor replaced?? Lol. Super easy to fix!!! And a fraction of the price of a new fridge. Smh. Or..... if the a/c compressor failed on your auto would you buy a new auto too?

Hello young lady, my wife Pam and I just bought a Whirlpool 28.6 cu ft refrigerator. I totally agree with you that tall items like Milk, tea, ect.... are limited as to where you can store them. Great review and thanks!

I really like my refrigerator. It does , but not as tall as the left side. You can always remove shelves, or move them around to fit your needs! I hope this helps!

Dear West10 Tv, You have the exact same refrigerator as me, and I've been spending hours trying to figure out how to removed the three drawers in the freezer section. First, If the front door of the freezer were removed, can you just pull the top drawer out of the freezer so you can see the 2nd drawer of the freezer. If the top freezer drawer is removed, can you just lift out the 2nd freezer drawer, or is there a stop that will keep the 2nd drawer from coming out. Thank you so so much. Russ

How is it holding up after a year? Any issues? I may order one. Thank you for the review. I was trying to see the ice maker inside the fridge where the ice pops out. I seen one on display at the store and the ice maker inside was over heating and burned looking.

If you took the top right shelf and moved it down to the bottom position, could you just slide the front half of it back and make room for tall items that way?

Do any of the shelves on the right side have that feature where you can tuck half of the shelf in to create more vertical space? The LG ones do that and I thought this Whirlpool model did too.

Hi! My refrigerator started making just a FEW cubes within 24 hours. By the second to third day, it was full. Make sure the water line is hooked correctly and there are no kinks. I hope this helps!

I have not had any issues with my refrigerator. I only wish it were bigger! The middle drawer is like a catch all drawer for me, and the smaller drawers in the main compartment are really helpful too! They feel like added storage. I did my research and this refrigerator, is what I felt best fit my needs. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching!

I do! So far, so good! I did a lot of research , and this is the refrigerator I purchased. Other refrigerators have other features such as screens and gallon size bins in the door but, performance wise, this brand was one of the better performing and longer lasting refrigerators. How long have you had this ? I’m thinking of buying one after I researched on samsung and found issues with them. not sure how this one compares with samsung but I heard they are pretty good as far as the reliability goes.

I have had this refrigerator coming up on a year. So far, so good! I too researched many brands and models. Samsung, while looking great, and many cases priced right, I could not get passed all of the issues I read about, and heard from friends who owned Samsungs. Most of the complaints were about the ice maker. I have owned Whirlpools in the past, and actually still have my last refrigerator in the garage. This refrigerator has been great, as far a performance and features. I only wish it were a little bigger. I hope this helps!

I love this refrigerator! But, I would love more space too! I picked this model as opposed to the model with the ice maker inside just for this reason! It still has plenty of space with the various compartments!

So I had the horrid Samsung (they are very well known for consistently putting faulty compressor in their fridge there freezer unit constantly breaks down..won't defrost..ice buildup..fridge stops cooling. So I just replaced it this past Thurs with Whirlpool because heard they are reliable HOWEVER I have a huge dilemma and may need to take my unit back and get something else..STORAGE STORAGE STORAGE...THE One good thing about my SAMSUNG..ALOT OF SPACE. and I had the Samsung Frenchdoor 25.5 cu and u can put me tall items without moving shelves around..alot of room in middle shelve and can put big pans in low drawerr.and pull out drawers were very roomy and the bins were huge too because my family we put ALOT of items in the fridge such as pickle jars..juice and milk and lots of Condiments..with my new Whirlpool (25.2 cu)..I can't even put HALF the items in there..same with freezer...very noticeable limited space and I can't do it..it's not an option to lay tall items down due to spillage..especially if my kids don't put lids on correctly and it drips..I'm so upset..because I really wanted this unit

I understand the space dilemma! I wished my refrigerator was a little bigger! I am able to place 2 liter bottles between the shelves, while laying flat. One solution I found was to not put items into the refrigerator that don't require refrigeration until they are ready for consumption. Also, don't underestimate the space in the 3 drawer compartment! Did you get the unit with the ice maker in the door, or the unit with the ice maker inside? Thank you for sharing!

Parts are cheap and often stick or are hard to reset/return to original position. Changing the filter is not as easy as I would prefer. And our ice makr often fail sto make ice. There must be better units on the market.
