It hurts my heart to watch her struggle with her voice in her later years. English Saralawa You know what in all honesty I’m truly starting to think half the world operates on Different dimensions at times. It’s been stated, published/ noted, and explained exactly why she was still up there singing. HER CONTRACT && sources close even publicly stated Clive put her back in that position. She was still required to finish some albums && tours bring money in. Hell he wouldn’t even let Whitney get vocal rest after she contracted vocal nodules and then after her surgery she was plunged back onto the stage. I’m not even a huge Whitney fan HOWEVER as I look at different videos I see way too many people asking and saying shit that has been confirmed years ago😐😐😐 like wtf is wrong with people, do y’all just not even follow up on the claims y’all make

@@ais8358 Clive said that the doctors who examined her body after her death found her vocal chords to be in good shape...it was her lungs that were compromised from smoking, and her septum that had a hole in it, from cocaine and crack usage. If she had severely reduced her smoking and had her nose fixed (without it affecting her tone and pitch), she would have managed to get back, probably 75% of her classic vocal ability. Whitney in her youth, and (esp.) her early middle age, sounds a lot like Dionne Warwick, her Cousin, and, like Whitney, Dionne's voice, by her late 40s, started to lose its classic tessitura due to smoking since the '60s. I wonder what Whitney's vocals would have sounded like had she stopped cocaine and cigarettes by, say, 1995. I'm looking forward to hearing Whitney's unreleased songs on the new album that will be releasing later this year.

For those who says that the drugs kill her voice are wrong, Unlike a lot of singers Whitney was a BIG touring artist from 1985 to 1995, she was touring all over the world nonstop. SINGING the hardest songs EVERY NIGHT with NO PLAYBACK. Singers voices need rest or it break. There’s also her Nodules disease, Her two miscarriage because pregnancy and hormones affect the voice A LOT and her pregnancy in 1992. And Whitney did the biggest tour right after giving birth cause she was the most successful artist at that time. Love her 💜

People fail to remember that Whitney had one or two miscarriages before having Bobbi Kris. Pregnancy and child birth greatly effects a woman's voice. Whitney's voice settled after Bobbi Kris. Whitney was ON TOP OF THE WORLD at that time after The Bodyguard had hit so instead of taking time off to fully get her voice back to 100% health she kept pushing doing her woldwide tour. I remember after Celine Dion had her first child how her voice changed but Celine didn't push it, she rested and got her voice back to a healthy condition. As shown in the "Whitney" documentary, Whitney had a lot of weight on her shoulders. She toured extensively to make sure her team had income. I wish people would have told her that she didn't owe anyone anything and to always take time for herself. She is my absolute favorite of all time and though her life was short, her talent and the memoires are long lasting. ❤️❤️❤️

So very true, just as a woman’s voice changes on a monthly bases due to menstruation. Hormones drastically manipulate a woman’s voice, and when you become pregnant there is a FLOOD of progesterone and estrogen (and a multitude of others) that pump through the body immediately when it recognizes a woman is pregnant. Whitney had one documented miscarriage in 1992, a full term pregnancy in 1992-1993, a second documented miscarriage in 1994 during the The Bodyguard tour, and a third documented one in late 1996. And who knows how many in between. That’s four pregnancies, albeit three ended prematurely, in the span of four years. That’s a heavy burden for any woman, let alone one who is being tugged in pulled in every direction. I think that people forget that she was a human being, physically and emotionally. I think that maybe she forgot that as well. I know that I often forget that. And upon forgetting we prioritize the world’s expectations over our on health and well being.

5:59 I feel blessed to remember Whitney’s career! There was no such thing as lip sync or auto tune for her. She would never have allowed it. Her voice was grieved when she died. Her vocals were still incredible despite the damage her life struggle’s endured … she was a rare gift from GOD , he makes no mistakes 🇨🇦🙏🏻🙏🏾🙏🏿 0:1🙏🏽❤️🪽🦄🌍

For life of me I could not understand why she went on with her latest tour when her voice was truly not fully recovered. Her whole team could see this and they still were eager to milk it in no matter how her reputation would go. In my view, she was not surrounded with people who cared for her much other than how much they can make. I cannot imagine how that made her feel concert after concert. Very very sad how so many real talents in US faced out under bad management.

God wanted that beautiful voice to be with him in the heavens as the rest of us only had a short period of time to listen to her.

She was so blessed, so blessed with that voice. It proves that famous people are human. She's a talent we got the opportunity to witness. I remember holding my little tape recorder up to the radio and would record her songs. I listen every, I mean every day to Whitney's music. Her smoking and drugs was the devil to her downfall. Whitney was so into her faith and knew she was special. Her smoking and doing drugs was her downfall. Ruined her voice from not taking care of herself. I'm one of her very devoted fans and still, STILL can't believe she's gone. Her talent, beauty and that voice will live on forever! It's not right but it's ok. Listen to her song 🙏🙏 Don't cry for me live. It is chilling the connection that song has prior to her death. Forever will miss a talent like hers. Doesn't exist anymore!🙏🙏

Whitney Houston was one of thee best singers and no one could compare back when she was younger.. but even as she aged, she was still the one, except when she got on drinking and drugs.. that both done her in... I loved watching and listening to her every chance I got.. I felt so bad for her in her last days..plus she had so much drama around her..Bless her heart.. we will always remember and love Whitney Houston!! RIH

Whitney Houston, she always will be the Voice! It chanced, yes, but is there someone who ask why? To work with the voice, it is very hard, and this is not only Whitney alone!

Even after 23 years ago Whitney Houston's voice sounds just as it did the moment she stepped on the stage. Her spirit still remains inside many of us this very day. We've often asked ourselves that same question ?, Where do Broken Hearts 💔 Go?.... They find their way home back to the only 1.…., of a LOVE 😍💕❤️ that's really THERE!! Heaven----🎇🌈🍀💋❤️😘🌹🌟💫😂
