Thing is. United is the only team from the upper half of the table they played....and they lost that one. I would be suprised if any of them get top 4. Tottenham, chelsea, liverpool, city for me. United will be inconsistent until spring. They have a talanted squad that finally plays with passion but they are not looking good yet. You ever thought those teams in the bottom half part of the reason they are there is because they lost to arsenal, they’re not inherently bad teams, there are no easy games in the premier league. Yes arsenal lost to the only other ‘big’ team they’ve played but beat them and Chelsea last season back to back. This current arsenal team can beat the big boys and the lower teams which is why the fans are excited. Arsenal normally do okay then lose a few to lower league teams so the fact they beat 5 teams in a row in the prem is still good despite losing at Old Trafford!

what? for the first 20 united were the better team massively, for last 25 of the first half arsenal were. for the first 20 of the second half arsenal were better, and for the last 25 of the second half united were the better side. it was even in terms of the balance of the game, arsenal controlled the ball well but did nothing with it (hence the 60/40 possession but united having double the shots on target). arsenal’s defending let them down and their midfield was non existent at times so therefore it cannot be a dominant performance. united defended well, controlled the middle well and attacked well in phases of the game
