When I was a kid, the old people in my family played "washers", which was literally just throwing washers into a coffee can that was partially buried in the ground because boomers had to find creative ways to entertain themselves.

Same here. Also have been forced into getting a combined washer/dryer since being forced to move to a smaller place which doesn't have enough room for a dryer let alone a dishwasher.

theres so many better ways to get therapists. betterhelp is horrible. i get you need sponsors, and i love your content, but better help is barely better than a scam. in many ways it is. They are massively unethical, and this is bad for the therapists, which is thus bad for the clients/patients.

@mikeknowles8017 - A pressure-washer is a metal donut you put on a bolt before you put the nut on. After you get the nut as tight as possible you rent a fire-department's pumper-truck, get up a head of pressure, and use a special hose to deform the nut so that it will never untighten. But it won't work with an ordinary washer on the bolt. You have to use a special pressure-washer that deforms under pressure. I see them everywhere in hardware-stores. Usually a fire-truck that you can rent for your project (IF you show them your driver's-license with the "Class FT" certification) is in the same aisle. I'm surprised you've never noticed this.

Yes, but also, my family calls both washing machine [pralka] and it's up to you to pick up which one from the context clues XDDD Probably because that's how my great grandma calls them? But I'm bilingual, so it bled into my English vocab as well, so I mostly use "washing machine" for both in English as well.

Despite this, the Greek habit of calling them both by the same name has never let up 🥹 I have to correct myself almost every time I refer to the dishwasher

In Europe, most machines are combo washer dryers. They exist!

Such machines do exist, they're just more modern and the traditional two-machine form is both easier to produce and accepted as normal.
