The scream movies always gives you clues up front. Dewey said the killer is a him, her, or them and you probably already know them. Randy also made a movie reference to Jason's mother Pamela Voorhees being the killer in Friday the 13th. The last thing Randy was going to say was "Never ever assume the killer is dead" it was a scene used for a TV spot around the time this movie came out. Mickey blended in the background well, but the killer recorded his murders and you always saw Mickey with a camera in his hand.

Love the Scream reactions! Just so you know, when Randy was describing the three rules to a horror sequel the third rule is actually said in one of the trailers for scream 2, but didn't make it into the movie. So the rules are: 1. The bodycount is always bigger 2. The death scenes are always much more elaborate 3. Never ever under any circumstances assume the killer is dead

The chase scene with Ghostface and Gale in the editing suite is one of the best in the franchise. I have knots in my stomach every time I see it. My heart absolutely breaks seeing Gale's face when Dewey gets stabbed. So great they let him live though - these characters are amazing to watch. Part 3 does get mixed reviews because it's such a different tone but I've grown to really love it over the years. I'm looking forward to seeing your reaction to that one next, + 4 and 5. Enjoy!

This stands as my favorite scream sequel and is the only sequel that comes close to the original. 2nd best opening since it’s the most unique of the scream openings, second best cast, great kills like the pole in the head amazing, love the killers, great chase scenes/ suspenseful scenes, it had stakes when they killed off the fan favorite, and Sidney is just a badass who said my favorite line in this entire franchise “You’re forgetting one thing about billy Loomis… i fuckin killed him”. Also thanks for putting me in the opening now you won’t be getting a trivia phone call this time🔪📞. So glad you liked this movie.

It was Mrs Loomis who killed Randy. She did it because he was talking shit about Billy on the phone and she got pissed at him. She admits to it when going after Sidney. Scream 2's script was the first major online leak. The script with the killer reveal was posted online and they were originally Mrs Loomis, Derek and Hallie. Because of the leak they rewrote it all. Scream 3 is a great movie actually. It's people's least favourite because it's very different tonally. It had a different writer as well because the original writer was busy doing other projects. The original idea for Scream 3 was to have Stu survive his death in Scream 1 and run a Ghostface cult from prison with high school killers. But then Columbine happened and the studio decided to not have teen violance in it. That's when the rewriting started. Scream 3 is a great comfort movie actually lol.

First for the fun facts from the audio commentary for the movie. Some one almost died in real life well filming it it was in the scene. Where Sydney is rehearsing the play the smoke on the stage was made with dry ice. The smoke is made as the dry ice melts the dry ice was in the orchestra pit. But as a product of the dry ice melting an becomeing smoke. It removes all the oxygen in that area now there was someone in the orchestra pit putting out the dry ice. But during filming his oxygen mask fell off an because of the smoke he could not find it. But some people heard him in distress an jumped in. But they also didn't have oxygen mask on but they got him out in time. So as a result the original guy passed out due to oxygen deprivation. If it was not for the other people he would of died. The people that saved him where treated for near oxygen deprivation. So they almost passed out due to lack of oxygen in the orchestra pit. Now Sarah Michelle Gellar's character the one that got thrown off the balcony. Sarah Michelle Gellar did that stunt herself. Because at that time she was also playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So basically she was doing jumps like that all the time on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So to her it was just another day on the job. Now about Dewey he was originally supposed to die an was written. In the original script or screenplay for the first Scream to die at the end of the first movie. But Wes Craven changed it so he lived because people liked the character. Then Dewey was supposed to die in this movie as well in the script or screenplay. But it got changed again but this time it was because Randy died first. So they wanted to kill of a main character to show. That no one was safe an they did that with Randy they wanted to shock an shake up the audience. Wich Randy's death did but not completely break the audience by having two main characters die. So because Randy already died Dewey got to live again. Now for the hard facts wich has a tendency to make me popular among some people. Its not Ghostface because Ghostface is singular meaning only one person. But its never the same killer even in the same movie it more then one person. So its Ghostfaces its plural meaning more than one killer. If it was the exact same killer coming back for every single movie then it would be Ghostface. Key word killer meaning only one killer constantly coming back over and over again. But because every Scream movie has completely new an completely different killers in them. Its Ghostfaces a horror icon is key word one an only one person or thing. Hans the word being singular icon. If its more than one person or thing it can't be a icon. Because a icon is one person or thing only multiple people or things can't be one thing. Because if its multiple people or things they are icons because icons is plural meaning more than one. To put it anywhere way if you wanted a horror figure wich they make those. For the Halloween movie franchise you only need one Michael Myers figure. Then you have the killer for the entire movie franchise mines the 3rd movie. But that's a hole nother story an I have the Collector's edition of Halloween 3 Season of the Witch so I can fill you in on that. But thats not important now one Michael Myers figure an you have the killer for every Halloween movie mines the 3rd one. A Nightmare on Elm Street one Freddy Krueger figure an you have the killer. For the entire Nightmare on Elm Street movie franchise. Now for the Scream movie franchise as of the 2nd movie you would need 4 figures one to be Billy one to be Stu one to be Billy's mother an one to be that film student. Just from two movies you would need 4 figures to have the killers from both movies then add one more for the 3rd movie then add 2 more for the 4th movie then add 2 more for the 5th movie. So in five movies to have the killers in the movie franchise you need 9 figures to have the killers in those movies. Then since I don't care about Scream 6 add a nother figure for everyone in that movie that uses that custom. So this shows that the Scream movie franchise has multiple killers new ones in every single movie. With multiple killers in all but one of them so Ghostface. Is not an cannot be a horror icon based on those facts an the definition of a icon. Wich is a person or thing that serves as an inspiration an stands for one thing the basic definition. But key words one person or thing that stands for only one thing. But every person that uses that custom has their own completely different motivation. So that also goes against Ghostface being a icon because if it was one. Scream 3 had several changes and censorship by the studio due to the Columbine shooting, so it's a bit different. This franchise doesn't have a bad movie, the weakest one is Scream 3 but it's still a good movie true to the franchise.

Scream 1,2,&4 was written by same guy (Kevin Williamson) he didn’t write scream 3, but later created a tv show called “the following” with Kevin bacon, and that show is the original plot for scream 3. Since he didn’t end up making the scream 3, he just held onto his idea and made a tv show it later.

so mickey didn't kill randy. mrs. loomis did. she mentions it in her monologue with sydney. she said she got "knife happy." P.S. scream 3 is my personal favorite. It’s controversial but I like how campy it is. It’s the most self aware and some think it’s over the top.. but that’s why I like it.

Hopefully this corrected your miscalculation at the end, thinking Mickey killed Randy, when it was actually Nancy Loomis. Mickey was just the one on the phone, but Mrs. Loomis happen to be in the costume & Randy died out of coincidence along with Derek who just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. This was also the first & only scream movie for the opening victims to not get a phone call from Ghostface; along with the only movie for Ghostface to not even have to see who he killed, when he killed Phil Stevens.

Interestingly enough in the first draft, Sydney’s roommate was one of the killers, ps keep up the great content, it’s fun to see someone experience these movies for the first time 🖤

The killer never called Randy he actually called Gail she was supposed to die instead of him, Randy’s death gave Gail a character arch because the audience didn’t like her at first because she was deemed to not have a heart Gail was also apart of Billy’s death so the “reporter” seeking revenge followed Gail the whole movie meanwhile Mickey followed Sidney the whole movie in the end the reporter was going to be the last one standing if Sidney would have died

Personal opinion (with no spoilers) - there's a definite quality drop-off with Scream 3, because Kevin Williamson didn't write it. Scream 4 is slightly better. Scream 5 is... meh. I think I expected more, because (due to Wes Craven dying) it was directed by the same guys who directed "Ready or Not", which is awesome and hilarious (highly recommend if you haven't seen it). But I dunno... part 5 was just okay. Adjust your expectations. Again, just my $0.02. Good video. 👊🏼
