The original ending was supposed to be Jill being taken to the hospital and the flashes on her. Then while they put her in the ambulance she hears someone say "we found another one alive, a woman". Then the movie would end there and we wouldn't know if it was Sidney or Kibry who had survived because we don't actually see Kirby dead. Then the original idea for Scream 5 was going to be Jill in college and Sidney working as a professor in that college but not remembering the events of that night because of the critical condition she was in. Then Jill would start receving calls from a new Ghostface saying he knew she was the other killer. Then Ghostface would start to blackmail and expose her to her friends and Jill would start killing her friends to keep the secret. It is not known who that Ghostface would be but I think it would have been Kirby who also survived but went into hiding.

.5% of Sidney's full power. I'm rolling at this line.

Fun fact: this was supposed to be the start of a new trilogy, but scream 4 bombed at the box office and then wes craven died in 2015. In the original script, Jill survives and Sidney would've too but with memory loss of the events of scream 4. Jill would be had her fame and a new ghostface would've came after her. Thoughout scream 5 Sidney would slowly remember the events of scream 4 and that Jill was ghostface. Scream 6 would then have Jill as ghostface again as the main antagonist of the whole trilogy. Jill was way ahead of her time with her motivation and was a really smart killer. The scene of her purposely injuring herself is my fav. This role put Emma Roberts in the spotlight for playing more bitchy and mean characters as begins this she was always casted as the innocent girl. Got to give props to Charlie too tho as his kills (especially Oliva) where quite brutal.

It feels so good that I get to see your reaction after having my friends watch the entire series. Scream 4 was so good and ahead of it’s time. Jill is my favorite killer tied with billy cause she’s easily the most psychotic and evil of all the killers. Like she had her mom get killed and she shrugged it off as nothing where as Billy would never do that to his mom. Love that the gore was back cause poor Olivia she didn’t deserve that amazing death scene.

10:00 this scene / conversation was why Neve was nearly in tears it was Sidney's character that made Gale and Dewey like parents to her due to the real dad being always busy and mother dead, that off set and on set it was about how David and Courtney had to break up .

scream 4 is my second favorite in the franchise. What’s great about this franchise are the openings of the movies and the 3rd act never ending chaos. Also love your hardon for Dewey in the series. Fun fact. All the newscasters in the movie are actually real. They all work here in Detroit. And the deleted beginning kills were actually different. You can pull it up on KZfaq. Was a lot more brutal, and better in my opinion. The actress that played Olivia was also really upset at the brutality of her death. Can’t wait for Scream 5 reaction!!

The best lines: "One generation's tragedy is the next one's joke" "You forgot the first rule of remakes Jill, don't fuck with the original" "I don't need friends. I need fans" "It's all over the internet, everybody will be doing it some day" This movie was advertised as Jill being the new Scream final girl. So when the she turned out to be the killer it was shocking. To this day the most shocking reveal and Jill is many people's favourite killer. You should watch the extended version's opening scene. It's a lot better. It still has the Stab sequences but the Jenny and Marnie death is way better. It also has a scene with Dewey in their crime scene with Marnie hung from the ceiling fan like Drew Barrymore and Jenny on a chair like Drew's boyfriend. It also has Wes's cameo.

Don't take credit away from Gale, she is always an essential character in the investigation and Dewey was a pain in the ass in this movie.

Scream 5 is my second favorite movie in the franchise, so hyped for you to watch it !!!! Scream 6 early reviews are out and it might just become my new second favorite, can’t say the original will ever be topped but damn, I’ll be there tomorrow for the early screenings !!!!!

Kristen Stewart was going to be the sole opening kill but she declined because she thought she couldn't do it justice. Then they wrote the Stab within Stab opening instead. And Ashley Greene was supposed to play Jill but she left before shooting and Emma Roberts took over. Hillary Duff was also going to be in it at some point.

I knew you'd love this movie man! The reveal in this one is just too amazing. I think everyone is excited for you to watch Scream 5 for a very particular reason so be ready! Great reaction

Maureen wasn't crazy u_u She was an adulterer and had a traumatic event in her past. See? Gale got that it was Jill and told Dewey. She's not useless. The beginning of the third act is when the killer(s) is/are revealed, and then there's usually a chase, a mess, some kills, and a scene of the survivors. hahaha Five soon? 6 is coming!

I'm glad you enjoyed #4. This one feels more consistent in tone with the first two and it really nails the suspense, the jumps and a solid dose of humour. These characters are so well written and it's great to check in with them again after ten years away. Jill was a great baddie and I did not see that reveal coming! It was a doubly fun twist that Charlie thought they were redoing Billy & Stu but Jill was going for Final Girl status. I'm looking forward to seeing your reaction to 5cream. I wasn't sure what to expect since it's the first one without Wes Craven, but it's a pretty solid entry and toward the top of my current ranking. (1 - 2 - 5 - 4 - 3) . After watching this movie again, I realize that the scene where Charlie says that reversals are becoming the new standard is very meaningful. As we could see, Trevor was very suspicious throughout the whole movie, just like Billy Loomis in the original, it just seemed right, agree? But Jill, instead of being a victim, losing her friends one by one, like Sid, turns out to be a real killer. So Charlie's words could've really helped me guess who the killer is, but no, I'm not good enough to figure it out by watching the movie for the first time.

Charlie probably the worst ghost face in scream franchise. But Jill.. one of the best for my opinion. Enjoyed the fact that she came so far, practically finished what Billie and Stue started. Good catch. We got the satisfaction we needed from the first movie. Loved that Jill storyline didn’t ended so poorly like another ghost faces did. She even came in the hospital. Damn, she was so close to got away with it. And I kind of wish that in happened. In my opinion, it's silly that Dewey and Gale figured out that Jill was the killer because she and Gale had the same wounds. Jill could have heard it from anyone, from the news for example. There's also deleted scenes of Scream 4 on KZfaq as well. After Marnie and Jenny were killed, they were staged in the living room. Marnie was hung from the ceiling fan like how Casey was hung from the tree in Scream 96, and Jenny was sitting in a chair like Steve. Wes Craven also did a tiny pop-up cameo as a coroner at Marnie and Jenny's crime scene. Olivia had a pet door around her neck, and Dewey told Deputy Hicks about his sister Tatum about how she died. He came to a realization that the killer was making its own version of a remake due to how each murder was staged similar to the victums that were killed in the original. One of the other favorites I wish they kept in the movie is the whole friend group, except for Jill sitting at a fountain talking about the events similar to Scream 96. Originally, Charlie wasn't going to try to kill Sidney but Kirby may have accidentally gave him the idea of it and it made him rethink of the game plan on Sidney.

So in this one, I didn't catch a few things right away till after I watched it a few times. 1. When everyone was getting alerted in the classroom about Jenny and Marnie getting killed Jill was the only one that didn't look at her phone. 2. When Jill and Kirby were watching Charlie killing Olivia. Jill had her phone positioned directly on them videoing it. 3. When Trevor was at Kirbys he was wearing a similar outfit as Sidney's dad Mr. Prescott in Scream who was also being framed. Also, Jill was wearing plaid like Billy in act 3 on Scream. Fun fact: Originally Kevin Williamson wanted Kirby to die but Wes Craven changed it to where he left a possibility that Kirby can come back. When Charlie walked away from her the camera was still on her moving on the ground. They were going to end this one with "there's a live one here" and Deweys asks if it's Sidney and then it ends as a cliff hanger before getting answered. They were also going to put Sidney into a coma after the house scene and then Scream 5 was going to pick up where she recovers but has no memory of what happened. Jill was going to be in College and finds out that living Sidney's life isn't as glamorous as she thought. Now there is a killer after her who knows her secret. But because they didn't know if there was going to be a 5th they didn't want to leave that as an ending for Sidney if it didn't happen where it looked like she died when she didn't.

Is it just me or does this movie seem like his exact replica of what movies have been like since 2020 to now maybe this movie was 10 years ahead of his time

“What if crazy runs in the family?” Pretty much sums it all up, yeah.

Loved Scream 4 BUT Dewey irritated me nearly the whole film. He did so well in 3 but he backslid here. He's a sweet man and is great emotional support for Sid (and occasional backup for Gale) but he's simply not much else. Gale is no Sidney but she gives final girl energy in her own right. After all Dewey's talk of keeping Gale out the loop it took her only a few seconds to realize Jill knew information she shouldn't whereas he's the whole sheriff and didn't clock it when she said it to his face. I left this movie with two thoughts: Do better, Dewey and WHO made you sheriff?

Jill is my favorite Ghostface because she technically got what she wanted and the other Ghostfaces were never successful in getting what they wanted. Also, Scream 5 is such a good movie and has one of my favorite Killer reveals so I'm excited for the reaction to it

Also, look at how Trevor is dressed in the final act. It's VERY SIMILAR, same color scheme, to Sidney's father at the end of Scream. That's another hint that he's the patsy in the film.

I find it so fucked up to find out Sidney's cousin is the killer. I told you, you'll have more enjoyment with Scream 4 than 3. I can't wait for your reaction to Scream 5. By the way, the Saw franchise was good until part 4. The franchise went downhill at five. Jigsaw which is really Saw 8 is a breath of fresh air.

Really recommend checking out the deleted scenes, there’s an alternate opening that’s way more brutal and pays homage to the originals opening kill and taytums kill, and there’s a scene of dewey talking about taytum and another brother/sister scene between him and sydney, some good shit, and a lot more, think some of it at least would’ve elevated the movie even more, it’s still my second favorite tho

I love how the first makes fun of horror movies. The second is sequels obviously and the third is trilogies. This one makes fun of remakes; So there's a lot of call backs.

Jill’s my favorite GF she was smart enough to get out of act 3 and some luck against her and a line that she definitely wouldn’t of said if it wasn’t for Sidney needing to live. Should’ve had the original script where she lives through the movie.

I’ve always thought the same thing about Gale’s “I helped solve these things”. No one’s ever solved these movies. The killer(s) reveal themselves. That’s why these movies are who-dunnits until the end of the final act.

Saw is a great franchise, too. It really is more than torture pxrn. There are actual storylines, and morals in them. And the thing about them is, a lot of people usually find themselves rooting for the main so-called "villain".

Scream 4 was my least favorite. It was the most predictable for me. Granted I didn’t know Charlie but I called Jill pretty early on and never doubted it. But that’s just my opinion.

You accuse the boyfriend everytime, the boyfriend should be at the the bottom of the list because like Randy said each movie they have to break New ground so making the boyfriend the killer is tired and there is always a red herring. Too much focus was on making Trevor look like the killer which means he isn't. I love how jill got the popularity that she wanted but everything she did was pointless because she won't be alive to enjoy it🤣. Gale most definitely helped solve the murders in every movie, she always gets closer than anyone to figuring out who the killers are, possible motives, and their next move. Looking forward to seeing your scream 5 reaction, it's a darker tone in my opinion.

The original ending had Jill succeed in killing Sydney and would've had Jill be the survivor in a possible sequel getting hunted by a new ghostface who would want to kill the new survivor. I really wish we'd have gotten that.
