I remember watching a lot of Taiwanese players use it to save their lives, they believed it was a peace banner. In the past the banner did save lives from being killed, now it is difficult to guarantee safety.

Before the nether roof was cleaned out again there were lines of this banner going out in all cardinal and diagonal directions for thousands upon thousands of blocks someone had some real dedication and a lot of totems to do that

I remember my first time on 2b2t and I came across what had to be thousands of these banners all clumped together. Just looking at the insane amount of banners made my frames drop to single digits.

As a Banner hunter slash Banner collector To this day by the end of 2023 Thomas banner is still the most seen banner Within 100k in every axis when i go out and go banner hunting the second one is A guy named Ninja Walrus who even has banners for Christmas and his holiday season oldest banner i have of him is by 2021 he goes second third is A guy named Cody smiles who also leaves signs in the most weird places and in famous gried bases then 4th to 5th can be any of the highway groups

2b2t's the most On The Spectrum server not surprising to be honest, everybody be saying "oh wow this server so great" but I am permanently stuck in bedrock and never going to be able to leave it since there's no /kill command

Ha! This reminds me of some of the clever advertising campaigns done by now-extinict companies back in the 1800's. So let's say you are a small shop owner in 1883. No Internet and phones were still a novelty. With a printing company in your same city, you could literally mass-advertise your business or your product! Another clever idea was painting full sized ads on the sides of buildings. Later, when the radio became a thing, you could pay a radio company to mass advertise your business. The banners are like that "mass advertisement" and how could I forget? One popular way to advertise a product was to hire singers to follow a "band-wagon" and the singers would sing enthusiastically about the product you were selling. Usually there was a band ON the wagon playing grand music to accompany the chorus. I can totally see these methods coming back on Minecraft but in different forms.
