To think KT was so close to making finals of lck and potentially defeating gen g last year but instead they chose to alter their canon event and pick T1 for some ungodly reason and ruin everything. Kill me now Monte, I can’t wait for natural causes

The "KT picked T1" event. I was so vocal about that last year. I vehemently disagreed with Chronicler saying KT is soooo gonna regret it. Got me so angry at Hirai for that, and I'm still reeling about that to this day.

Man seeing this video and you still covering league makes me remember you so clearly during end of S3-S4 the lck seasons prior to S4 worlds with the Korean bootcamp hype from TSM and C9, and Samsung White stomping everyone with imo the biggest performance peak for a team ever I've seen in comparison to the rest of the teams for that season. Ahh the days man, I was still 14 but I spent full nights watching you and thorin anaylze the pro play scene. League has never been as good as it was back then for me.

Franchising is killing talent everywhere JUST HOW EVERYONE SAID IT WOULD! The truth is. Franchising is only really done in American sports and there it's always paired with great school and collegiate systems. No so thing exists in LoL and probably never will. The way it works now it's just making everything worse.

Geng might be the most talented team of all time and I’m a huge T1 fan. Kiin insanely versatile in any meta best Top of the world (Zeus most talented though), Canyon the GOAT of Jg, Chovy unreal. Only their bot lane might not be the best of the world but still rly good.

kt almost looked like they can't gel at all with each other PerfecT, Bdd, and the trio of ex-DRX players seems walking in different directions and doesn't have any goals Hope they can sub in some of their Challenger rosters just to change the atmosphere and morale

KT snubbed Cuzz for Pyosik. Now they are last place, and KDF (who picked up Cuzz) is thriving.

The pyosik hate is so insane..watch the games and tell me he isn’t their best performing player - BDD and perfect have been running it the fck down but sure yeah it’s just not a BDD meta.. pyosik must be the real problem somehow?!?

Wolf doesn't seem to rate Zinie at all and I think that's crazy. kt had never done anything in academy at all, not even close to ever being a championship team. After winning LCK AS he was promoted to a kt.C team that was 1-3 after 2 weeks and went 12-2, won MVP and then won playoffs. Bdd is a vegan player who doesn't win lane and just goes with the flow, whereas Zinie always has the highest damage and is constantly looking for game changing plays like engages, flanks and whatnot. Hype and Way are on par with his impact but he's definitely 1000x more important than HamBak, who's good but isn't even better than Sharvel for instance. Anyways, right now kt.C is in a 2-game losing streak, I'm guessing Hirai is forcing them to only scrim the main team because they can't win anymore all of a sudden (Zinie still leads the league in POGs but I guess he's bad right?)

But what does wolf think how viper would perform in geng? Peyz is playing insanely well right now and top 3 no doubt, but viper is playing with budget geng except delight xD I really don’t think if you swap both adc, that hle would be any thread.

I don't know how well Viper fits into GenG. We've seen Chovy and Viper before, honestly. If I have Chovy who has been the best teamfighting mid in the world this season, I'd just rather have a stable supportive ADC like Peyz or Guma

@@candidosilveira8743 Chovy and Viper back then were practically rookies when they played together. Let's also remember that Lehends was Viper's support back then too along with Chovy. It would however be interesting to see Viper play with Chovy and Lehends again tbh to see how much the synergy would work out in the modern times.

You for sure missed the entire drama surrounding the top situation which completely ruined the team. And also your dumb ass argument was the same before this split started if chovy and canyon would work well together.. turns out if your just fucking good at the game that is already enough. I think it’s crazy that your trying to argue how broken viper would be, because he doesn’t lose lane and is a RELIABLE 1 vs 9 machine. Imagine you have chovy and viper both playing at the highest level. I don’t see the argument at all for an adc that Is just not their yet. Viper has a bigger champion pool aswell, that guy even plays yasuo

@@BlackDeathBlade To add on, GRF were monsters in the regular season. It was more the management that messed that team up by playing the god awful top laner Sword over Doran against THESHY of all laners.

The issue is LCK is completely unable to play non mera champs BESIDES canyon and Showmaker! They are the only ppl in lck who frequently plays non meta stuff! BDD should just play what he is good at and draft around that. If he wanna play Syndra, azir or ryze then do that! Play around him or bench him!

Just because they don't play it in LCK, doesn't mean they can't? When was the last time Ezreal was meta? Peyz played one game on him in 2023. Suddenly he pulls it out on 14.11 (pre-buffs, not meta) and looks incredible on it. These guys are the best players in the world, its ridiculous to think they all have a 3-4 champion pool.

@@SwayNoir i never said they cant i said the dont do it. Whatever the reason wasnt at focus just that there is only 2 players who continously play offmeta picks. I guess faker plays Azir in all metas aswell , shownaker plays Syndra frequently and showmaker pulls of his Nida or Graves occasionally and Kiin or if its kingen does Ryze top here ans there. Theres like 10 adcs that are played in pro not to much to ask to know how to play them all. In mis/top/jgl there is 30-50 picks! Abit diffrent scenario

While I agree in general LCK stick very close to the meta, I think there are more players than just Canyon and Showmaker that go off-meta frequently, Keria being the most obvious.

@@JQuill116 Yea ofc but they tend for the most part to be pretty stale in their way of thinking. Keria and Beryl and Canyon are prob the biggest 3 who has been out of LCK to set the meta for other teams to follow. If u go back however to 2018-19-20 it was actually G2 who set the meta for MSI and worlds and the toplane meta with Zac etc was G2. Go back to the days of 2013 it was Moscow5 who set the meta for the entire world to follow. So compared to Europe LCK doesnt like to innovate to much and they for the waste majority of time spend their games playing the same 20 total champs out of like 170 possible champs.
