I appreciate the topics Kevin touched on during his time. Maybe it was coming from an immigrant family with strong family values but I wasn’t raised to think this way at all. My mom is still with my dad after 35 years, he’s been a Gardner the entire time and she took on any job she could to stay home and raise us. My husband is a plumber and I make more than him but does that mean I don’t do my wifely duties? Absolutely not ! He gets home tired and I try to have dinner ready and a clean home. In exchange he gives me a loving husband and expresses his gratitude when he can.

Average is a reality in life. We have average height, average weight, average intelligence...average looks exist and are also called nondescript. A criminal with nondescript looks in their community by definition looks like everybody else and is hard to catch/pin down. The breakthrough into reality is to accept you have nondescript looks when that's what you have. You might however have high energy, femininity, great humor, etc but nondescript looks also. Accepting reality helps one to navigate life more successfully
