i would like to point out _ in the world of dbz earth has far more then one species of earthling and while chi chi and the ox king look human the ox kings size and her being decended from him not to mention her inhuman strength at her introduction suggest shes not just a regular human but a higher species not unlike the earths resident giants and the like

If I remember correctly in an interview that Toriyama Sensei had done he had said that in his original draft Chichi was supposed to have some sort of divine abilities which her family was a descendant of. By the way love the thumbnail and I've seen other fan art of this particular style where they gave Chichi a beast form alongside Goku with his Ultra instinct form.

Just like how Goku was based off of “the journey to the west” main character sun Wu Kong. His wife Chi Chi is based off of Princess Iron Fan is also known as a Rakshasa or Raksasi. A Rakshasa in Hindu and Buddhist mythology is an incredibly powerful being that may come from divine origins or wield superhuman power but lacks the essence of true divinity.

Same. Even if it was just in the saiyan saga. I always thought she'd be up there training on the lookout with the others to prepare for the saiyans. Not just to stand up to the saiyans for getting Goku killed, but also to stand up to Piccolo for kidnapping Gohan. Forgiving Piccolo for sacrificing himself to save Gohan would've helped bring her around. That's all she needed and NO ONE would be complaining about her as a "boring, annoying, 1-dimentional character". I'm not saying she is those things, but far too many people do.

I feel like "Beast Potential" sounds like something Gohan would have inherited from Chi-Chi. I mean her father is called The Ox King and Oxen are in fact Beast. For me that would make for some really cool lore , but sadly I feel like that would be something more explored by Fan Manga creators than from the official source.

I would love if the animal spirits were explored more. Not as tangible spirits or animals with personalities... but rather they were mentalities within a character. Imagine if Yamcha went on a journey to rediscover and reconnect with himself / the wolf spirit/mentality. As good as the Turtle teachings are, it just wasn't who he was and it was stopping him from reaching his true potential. Saiyans tails were always said to be the source of their power. I adore what GT did with this, bringing back the tail and Great Ape so Goku could ascend to new heights. It's as if not having a tail was blocking him, like blocking a chakra. And then at the end of GT he ascends to a higher dimention beyond what even gods can reach, becoming one with the dragons. Having the Ox spirit be a part of Gohan and Chi-Chi's strength would be great to explore too.

Chi chi is actually pretty strong for a human that doesn't use ki. Probably even stronger than Videl. If she trained under Roshi with everyone else, she'd probably be right up their with Tien if not even higher.

Given her father was the strongest character in the series before Raditz appeared, she should live up to her eventual title of Ox Queen! 5:00 - That argument falls apart when you remember that Ox can't sense Ki & is going off of Roshi's statements. 10:35 - He wouldn't've to baby sit. They just train in shifts or while he's napping.

I had the theory that beast form was inherited by Chi Chi. No other saiyan could do it other than Gohan. His rage was the reason SSJ2 was obtained. Imagine if Chi Chi trained her rage. She would be one of the strongest humans. Chi Chi was able to hold her own in the Tournament in Dragon Ball. She stopped fighting due to wanting to be a stay at home Mom. Maybe she could train Bulma.

I think this Beast mode came from Chi Chi, with Gohan controlling it (who also has oozaru power) and Vegeta's knowledge from having a controlled oozaru form. They train Broly, Goku also learns this, Broly unlocks a controlled Legendary SSJ, Goku master SSJ3 and unlocks Legendary SSJ, Vegeta and Gohan get there. They think have a road to new forms and SSJ4

Chi Chi simply follows a trad wife script because she is an isolated country princess. Since Gohan chose the path of the warrior, she has to realize this and also choose the path of the warrior. She only has to gain, with the proximity to Goku, who would love a Chi Chi who spars with him (like in classical) and would also be a great leader of Z warrior women. If Gohan is the strongest hybrid warrior in the universe, he is this warrior with her DNA, leaving a loose end for a hidden power. I was thinking about this these days before seeing this video and thinking it's a great idea and seeing you with this same thought to develop Chi chi, so I'm not crazy.

As you said, this explains Gohans insane potential. Gohan is a Frieza level prodigy, only needing a few months at best to catch up. Give him a full year and he will surpass you, as seen in the Cell saga.

Chi Chi does have an unspoken plot armor from the two pregnancies that she went through. She received saiyan DNA from both of her boys which made her a chimera, a type of hybrid, a human-saiyan hybrid making her equivalent to Goku Jr.

Great video. I really enjoyed the videos you did for Yamcha and Tien too. If I remember correctly, the "Yo, Son Goku and his friends return" special" when Abo and Kado show up Goku said something about them being as strong as Frieza was on Namek. Chichi would have to be super strong in order to get Goten to that level of power.

If Chi Chi continued as a training partner for Goku, and learned to control ki, her power would be around Goku's in the Raditz arc, and he would be stronger. Then she would personally train Gohan instead of Piccolo after seeing Gohan's hidden power. Or better yet, Piccolo doubts that Chi Chi could train Gohan properly so he promises to train with both of them before the saiyans arrive, like Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo trained before the androids. Making All three of them stronger and able to fend Nappa off until Goku shows up. Nappa is still stronger than them when he is at FP, somewhere around 7000 PL

Dude, Chi Chi took a kick from Super Saiyan Goten and was only minorly dazed. If you go by the Yo son Goku and his friends are Back special Goten and Trunks were fighting Avo-Cado almost evenly and he was around as strong as Frieza. And the time wasn't that long after. I always thought heast mode came from her because od that Dino scene

Let us start from a positive note- I love the video and the idea man well done. I love the character of Chi-Chi and agree her potential was amazing. As for the numbers I highly disagree, I created different numbers for myself. However this is the thing about power scaling, everyone is choosing their own numbers if it's not official. The numbers are rarely official and I don't take the guide books as a fact, I take them as an indication.

Wile I agree that Chi-Chi has more potential than Krillin and Yamcha due to her unique genetics and feats, her father being the Ox King and all who was trained by Roshi, the idea that Krillin or Yamcha surpassed Frieza and SSJ Goku on namek is just bad writing from super in the effort to be nice to Krillin, like Krillin beam clashing with SSJB Goku, and not something that has any reasoning or validity behind it, Krillin stopped training after the namek saga when he was at plv 13,000, weaker than Recoome, Yamcha stopped training when he finished king kai's training, which would make him around high ginyu tier, Tien however, is a different story, and is the only earthling other than Uub who you could say would have surpassed super saiyan tier at least by the end of Z.

I don't get why people keep saying the saiyans have the best "training potential". There are multiple examples of when a human or namekian did the exact same training as Goku, they got bigger gains in less time. Through training alone humans are better than saiyans. The only thing keeping the saiyans ahead is the transformations. And if a human pushes a saiyan into going SSJ, the human (in a way) won. So while Gohan was born with a high power level because of his saiyan side, his potential for growth comes from his human side. It's not even necessarily an "Ox King" thing, but that may help also.

Perhaps this goes a bit (a boatload) off the rails since all the other humans got left so far behind they fill in as spectators at best, but there is DEFINITELY something there. Her amd the Ox King certainly show that there were indeed humans with way more to them that what we got. Would have been wonderful if that was explored way more from the get-go. Makes 0 sense that all these alien races have powerful af beings and even what they consider mutants among them, but us humans "seem" to have a hard upper limit. A wanted to see a Chi Chi who could give Cell a run for his money. A random burly bro comes from the shadows and become Vegeta's second rival, and Beerus takes an odd intrigue in them... oh and his Super Saiyan God too lol

Now here's a video I would love to see how strong would Goku and Chichi be if they trained together from the very beginning when they first met. So in other words when Goku shows up to train with Master roshi for some reason Chichi shows up as well and technically I guess the Z Fighters would also grow stronger too because of this so I would love to see how strong they would become because of this as well in that video.

She doesn't show up as well, she follows Goku. 'I'm going to marry him no matter what!' and she sticks to him like glue. Including dying together with Goku to save Gohan (resulting in them training together with Kaiosama and Piccolo still training Gohan and developing their bond that is so important to the story.)

@@priestesslucy3299 the only time I can see that they would not train together would be the 7-year time skip when Goku died and Chi-Chi and Goku would not go into the time chamber together in the 10-day they had unless the Restriction was removed and more than two people can go in the at the same time. The reason for the 7-year time Skip it's because one of them had to raise the kids at least and she was pregnant at the time for the time chamber. I think she would have asked Bulma to make her a gravity chamber for 7 years in order to stay and safe and maybe perfect the Kaioken getting it to at least 400 because in the Lord Slug movie Goku was able to purchase to 100 so she might be able to push it to 400 I did some calculations and if you train in 3,000 times gravity you should be able to do Kaioken times 6,000 and that's because Goku was able to increase the Kaioken that he was supposed to be able to handle from 2 to 20 with 100 times gravity and he trained in 10 times gravity for two times Kaioken.

@@timothyfrasier8218 if Chichi is his Battle Couple Partner in Crime, I don't think Goku had it in him to refuse to be brought back. Somebody is going to Namek to resurrect him and he is going to accept, and they raise Goten together. As for the Room of Spirit and Time, that would be the perfect time narratively for Chichi to discover Beast. Goku gets Gohan's first trip into the time chamber, then Chichi goes the second time with Gohan. Matter of fact, maybe Gohan doesn't go stupid on Cell at all if his mother is there as well.

@crestofhonor2349 Well, they both have similarities in physical design, despite adult Chi-Chi being the forerunner. Toriyama gave Chi- chi that adult design because if I can recall, it was also an inspiration of a character in one of the Bruce Lee movies.

Sadly Frieza defense and durability it's three times higher than his transformation so whatever power level he has times that by three and that's how much he can take so he would have had his second transformation by the time Chi-Chi reach to max power without Kaioken so against chichi he might have used 100%

You may be observing the wrong power level boost. Consider all the teachers Goku had and how long it took them to train him for the power ups. But then when they teach the Z fighters later, they get much stronger in a much shorter period. Goku forces every teacher to their maximun potential

Goku again had a power level of 334 it would be fair if Chichi had at least 300 to 324. Somewhere in between that would have been a lot more fair

I still like to think Ox King has a PL of 900 but he just is too big of a baby to fight.

I like to think he has so much faith in his master that he is convinced if Roshi can't beat someone that he would have no chance despite his raw power.
