Moses was a prophet of God, but he was not the last, neither Torah was the final revelation. God sent new prophets and new revelations, and Jews were told to obey them all.

Isnt the first word in the torah written hebrew is בראשית? If you translate it literally word by word wouldnt that be: "בר" son, "א" god, "ש" destroy, "י" work/activity, "ת" cross?

Our God Almighty through the prophet Moses in Deuteronomy 19:15 said “One witness shall not rise against a man concerning any iniquity or any sin that he commits; by the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established". Jesus Christ, had many witnesses, from before He was born, when He was born and after He went to be with our Father in heaven. Therefore if we truly believe what God had said in Torah we wouldn't be even having this discussion, Jesus had more than three witnesses and God was one of those witnesses. Before Jesus was born, in the beginning God spoke about Him in Genesis 3:15 (After man fell from grace, God promised them a wounded victor: He would crush Satan and his works), King David spoke about him in Psalm 16:9-10 "Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. King David died, but Jesus Christ died and God raised him back to life on the 3rd day, his body never saw corruption. The prophet Isaiah spoke about Him a lot, from Isaiah 7:13-17; Isaiah 11:1-9; Isaiah 52:13-15 & Isaiah 53:1-10, Those scriptures mention a lot, however the gist is that the messiah borne our griefs and carried our sorrows yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted :( . We were all deserving to die, because we have all sinned against God and broken His will. Unfortunately, the law God gave Moses could not justify us from our sins, rather it was our guardian as we waited for the Messiah. It is also written that "cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the book of law, but the righteous shall live by faith". Jesus had no sin, yet He was cursed as he hang on the cross for us, that we might be free from the curse of law (since we failed to keep it). Now because of Jesus, God made a way for us to know Him and have eternal life. The testimony of Jesus is legit, when He was born, the angel of God appeared before many shepherds in Bethlehem and announced His birth and spoke of His course on earth, the angel mentioned that "Jesus is Christ the Lord" (see Luke 2:10-12), the angel said that not people! There are many legit witnesses (both in the old and new testament) of Jesus that confirm that He is the Messiah. The matter at the hand has nothing to do with the number of people who witnessed Him, rather its a question of faith. Do we believe? The Israelite's before they entered Canaan (on their first encounter with Canaan) had unbelief, they didn't believe that God could help them defeat the Nephilim/Giant people (the descendants of Anak) and therefore God said they will not enter it, and for 40 years many of them perished in the wilderness for their lack of faith (see Numbers 13 & 14). Now before (in the old testament), anyone who rejected Moses’ law died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Now how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? Jesus was announced by God as His Son before we were even born and his faithful disciples about 120 (not 5), after Jesus left them they also testified to the same truth, and now the question is, do we believe? Our father Abraham was counted as righteous man because He believed God. Now to be saved we need to believe in Jesus Christ, repent from our sins and be baptized into Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins and then demonstrate our repentance through our deeds :) . As a Muslim i want to guess the answer without watching the video: Because they don't "believe" in the Moses, they believe in the God.

What confuses me is that Moses warned us against idolatry, explaining that God has no form. But what about the man that Jacob wrestled who was supposedly God? What about the man in judges that they realized was God after He ascended? What about Moses himself seeing the back of God, or speaking "face-to-face" with God? This is really confusing!

It says in Jeremiah there was going to be a new covenant. And it says in other places it would include some Gentiles and only some Jews. And this guys says, "why would you think there was going to be a change?"

Hey, so i'm lowkey interested in Christianity but some concepts are really confusing me. What is the trintiy? Is Jesus god ? Or the son of god? Or Both? Then there are two gods? Then Christianity isn't monotheist after all? But it clearly says in the bible that lord God is only one? So wouldn't this make the trinity illogical? I can give a simpler answer. Ask the Christian if they believe Moses split the sea then why don't they believe that Mohamed, Buddah, and any other prophet of any religion can do the miracle they did. The answer they will give you is the same answer the Rabbi can give too.

Dont’t forget that the old testament is preaking directly about jesus

My question to the Rabbi is who is the final Prophet that is spoken of in Deuteronomy 18:15 -18. And what is the meaning of Deuteronomy 33:2. And why did the Jewish people after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A. D move to the land of Kedar.

I would like to ask a question to my Jewish friends, rabbi says Jesus came with new Torah to abolish law, but Jesus himself said I have not come to abrogate the law but to fulfil it. When Mary came into the city with her child baby Jesus spoke to the people and told them he is a prophet of God this was the first miracle of jesus mentioned in the scriptures witnessed by the people. Many prophets have come in the past and yes their customs change with the time according to what God wills. I can’t fathom why the Jews put such criteria for prophet of God having to come in a certain manner. Unfortunately we beleive they will be the victims who will follow the antichrist when he comes with trickery to deceive mankind towards the end of the world.
