Todah rabbah Rabbi, for yet again a beautiful speech🙏🏼What I particularly like about Moses, is that he had a speech impediment. He felt not worthy, he had no confidence. But in the eyes of Hashem he was more then good enough. So this hidden message throws a curve ball to all the people who still believe in 2023 that having a disability is a curse and needs to be fixed. I often wonder why there are so many people around with a godcomplex and decide that disabilities aren't allowed to exist. People like that approach me regularly and it is uncalled for. I always try to be polite whilst they hoover over me and my wheelchair.

There is a great difference between the society that Aristotle championed and the one Moses pioneered, hence the different lives of our "greats." The talents and gifts of our leaders, of Da Vinci and Mozart, came from the same spirit that descended upon Moses, but the people themselves, the vessels of those gifts so to speak, lived in entirely different social conditions. The social isolation and fragmentation that the Western model launched in Ancient Greece with the disciplinary/cognitive breakdown (that eventually led to what we call today individualism) was the one championed by Aristotle and based on a reliance on rationality and empirical observation, which is the opposite of the trust in something vastly greater than any individual or even any group or society that was the legacy of Moses (exemplified by the Red Sea scene you so eloquently discussed in another segment). I live in a Hassidim neighbourhood, and see on a daily basis how the two models differ. There is a community spirit on both "sides" of the street, but the Hassidim's is an organism that breathes together and is also, contrary to popular belief, open in an organic metabolic way to the outside so it is resilient and self-sustaining, it never breaks. The Aristotelian one breaks down at the first sign of trouble because it's just the sum of its parts, it's based on intersections and mathematical balances of interest that shift moment to moment and can dissipate altogether at any bigger shift of power balance. So, an artist or philosopher is mostly alone in the Aristotelian model, it is hard to sustain a practical life and channel the spirit in a model that doesn't even really believe that the spirit is not just a metaphor of sorts, and not the very source of sustainable community/life. Hence, I wouldn't judge Rousseau too harshly about his deranged behaviour towards his kids. (Not condoning, of course, but recognizing the madness of context it reflects.) The bottom line is that the spirit always finds its way. We see today Aristotle's model dominating the world so, quantitatively speaking, his legacy was more potent than the family model. So, in a way, this model achieved what it set itself to do. Is it sustainable? We are not sure. Is it wrought with problems - absolutely. Do I personally believe that the way of Moses is the true way? Most certainly. However, there is no evidence that either of those models has arrived at its pinnacle, at its teleological end so to speak. I would also argue that the current world is an amalgam of those models, as the predominant Christian bend of the Aristotelian model has infused the latter with the Abrahamic intent. So, it's not really so much a competition but an "alchemical" project in which we need to keep distilling the pure light from the chimeric constructions of the ego (or the Adversary's mind of the Bible, if you will) which is exactly what you are doing with running this channel. Thank you for your great work! For those of us who grew up on the other side of the street, our fathers, whose minds were mired in the struggles of the Western paradigm, do speak through you in their hearts. In your words I hear what my father wished he could have said, and in a way, said silently through his troubled but powerful love. ❤

Dear Rabbi Jacobsen, your teaching touched me deeply. I will listen to this some more time as a reminder on my spiritual journey. I am a woman from Eritrea, have been studying the Holy Bible for some years now and feel I have much to share to my ppl, teach and guide. Right now I feel I have a "Speech defect" because I grew up here in europe. It is not that I don´t speak my language fluently but I have accent. I always ask God to send me Aron, His answer is "just begin, take your first step". Tomorrow my daughter is bringing me my first equipment for my Podcast. And now listening to your teaching is a message from above. May God bless you endlessly. Eri from Denmark

My Dad. Hes a Mason. O rh negative born from a poor poor family. Had 3 children by the age of 20. He worked so hard and adored his children. Born with disadvantages. Sacrificed and I'm so so proud to say thats my Dad. He excelled at sports. He saved a man at his work pulling him from the Mississippi River no life jackets. He worked his way up to own his own business. Everyone says oh I know that guy. What a honest hard working guy. His family were from the Appalachian mountains. Ten children with a drunk for a father. My Grandmother loved her children so much they all grew up to be wealthy and successful. They squatted in abandoned factories to live. Picked cotton in the south during the great depression after getting married at age 13. So my Dad. Everyone should have a Dad like mine. He loves me so so much. He is a son of Abraham.

There were four examples of leader that led to Moses. First Enoch who walked with G/d and wanted to be with G/d alone (completely selfish) so G/d took him up to be with him. Then there was Noah… he could have saved the world through interacting with it… but could not extend his love beyond his family… the 3rd example was Abraham… the Great Abraham who opened his tent to traveler’s to allow them nourishment …. If only they say a prayer for his G/d…. The least selfish but still … a little bit. Then there was Moses… who said to G/d …. Give my people another chance or take me out of your Tora. He was the quintessential example. 🙏🏼✨❤️🌈

@@Wildgrowsthenature i can tell you the truth! none in the history of their coming could be compared to Christ! And father Job when it came to innocence, they had no form of selfishness in them or caused any harm to anything. Moses was one of the greatest prophets but Christ was a heavenly Angel amongst us! So to me He is higher then all who ever came. We go to Allah's kingdom through Him! He will also be our judge when we enter the spiritual realms in the afterlife.

@@heaven33957 Xtianity is a dumb, fake man-made religion. JC cursed a fig tree for not bearing fruit. After - when asked if there was fruit on this tree - he walked to the fig tree and saw upon arrival that the tree was fruitless. The so called ‘son of God’ can’t tell if a certain tree grows fruit without physically inspecting it? He is going to save us? An 18 year old Talmudic student has more knowledge of divine information than the entire idol-worshipping man-made cult of hypocrisy combined. JC was already dead for centuries when this Esav gang of clowns tried to replace Judaism with ‘Xtianity.’ You can never win a religious argument against Jews who actually follow Judaism. It’s like kindergarten trying to lecture Harvard about scientific methodology.

I really enjoy your podcasts and the wisdom they bring. Thank you. This one hits home for me as the son of Moses, son of Nicollee, etc..... I would love to tabernacle with you. The shematas don't leave me too much time to complete the last handful of prophecies, so I am looking for a dozen or more truth tellers who understand that this is the year 7995 of Adam. I need to prove YHVG GOD exists and save the world. I am here now, and I could really use some help, as a head can not function without the body. I posted my first Bible study, and you will see how like Moses I am. I love you. Keep up the greatness.

Thank you! Very powerful ideas! It always amazes me how such truths are so logical, clear and obvious, but they need to be stated out loud in the way you have since the world has a tendency to muddy up our perception with vanities and fears so what should be obvious is not and lies become "truths," but when ideas that stem from the wisdom of Hashem are stated they resonate so brightly and clearly that they dispel self-deception.

Greetings, Loved Ones! Wow! I just saw a stream of satellites or space craft, a number that I could not count, cross the night sky, and another satellite, perpendicular to the presession, almost collide! What are the chances that I would go outside to retrieve the mail from the mailbox, at this time, to witness this special event! Normally, satellites travel on different paths but these were all in alignment, spaced apart by 2 or 3 hand widths, traveling at the same speed! I felt like I was being Saluted! So I waved back at them! They went right over my house and drive way, so I laid down on the driveway, for my neck was hurting! I was looking up for about 5 to 10 minutes, that's how many were crossing the sky! Venus and group of 3 stars in alignment, was just west of them, about 3 hand widths, and the Big Dipper was east of the presession! Now, who was responsible for That?! Maybe I will find out from the news! They might come around again! This is Exciting! This was after 8 PM, heading south, over San Diego, CA. I have seen our space craft and they are able to reflect the sky beneath their belly and become invisible! Do not mess with US, you evil doers! The LORD's weapons of His indignation resides with the United States of America, to make desolate the unrepentant descendants of the ancient Babylonian Empire, and the LORD will Lead His Nation! Isaiah 13, verses 1 through 11! Repent or be punished! There is no more room for evil nations, after the LORD has determined that the time is at hand, that they must Repent through Christ or perish! He who lives by the sword or today's weaponry, to survive, will die by the sword! Accept and obey the Sword of Christ, which are the Words of GOD, Most High! Thus says the LORD GOD, Lord God Immanuel Christ and the Holy Spirit, through their servant, Vincent King David EagleHawk Christ, Amen!!!!!!! AMEN!!!!!!! VJS/VKDEC (Prophet of LORD YAH and Lord Yah) 05-15-2023!

Moses sees himself as that sheep who wander off from the flock, He knows what is like to be that sheep looking for water. That is probably the reason why "I AM" chose him to lead the flock because he can truly empathize with other beings. You can't be a good leader if you don't know how to empathize. Empathy is remembering who you truly are inside.

Lots of good leaders doing super amazing work on places y’all not looking at coz they’re not in glamour jobs and fake industries. Is a followers crisis as well, because people are being conned and couldn’t see mashiach even if he was punching them repeatedly.

Did Moses' mother lie to Pharaoh at the command of YHWH ??, does Jehovah teach to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth???, or does he allow lies to achieve his goal, or did YHWH have no other way to make Moses a prophet to the Humonaids?, That's how you treat my eye, that's how I have the right to treat your eye too...

Forgive me but in the New Testament book of Acts 7:22 Stephen says Moses was educated in all the wisdom of Egypt. Also that he was a powerful speaker. He grew up in the Royal Court of Egypt where he lived for 40 years so he was well educated before he became a shepherd looking after the flock of his father-in-law Jethro the Midianite. This testimony of Stephen sort of goes against the traditional interpretation of Exodus 4:10 where Moses tells YHWH that he is not eloquent that he may have had a speech impediment. How then could he be a powerful speaker? Or was Moses saying he didn’t speak Hebrew well. He grew up from the age of three months in the Royal Court of Egypt. It was likely then that Ancient Egyptian was his native language. He then fled Egypt at age 40 and lived with the Midianites for 40 years. At what point would he have learned Hebrew except a few words to give orders to an Israelite slave who more than likely spoke Egyptian. So Moses was saying he spoke Hebrew about as well as I speak Spanish. YHWH then tells him that He, YHWH, would tell him what to say and anyway his brother Aaron could translate. So YHWH would tell Moses in Egyptian, he would tell Aaron to translate into Hebrew to tell the Israelites. When Moses went to see pharaoh he would have had no problem communicating. YHWH also told Moses later that everyone who had known him 40 years before were dead so nobody was going to recognize him. I figure that was Pharaoh Amenhotep III about 1490 BC.
