Hey everyone,
Welcome to PART 3 of our DIY Sprinter Van Conversion, where we take this empty 2019 144 wheelbase Sprinter panel van and turn it into the ultimate off-grid campervan / tiny house on wheels over the coming months.
This video is Part 3 of our Sprinter Van to Off-Grid Tiny Home series where we are documenting the conversion of our panel van to a luxury off-grid home on wheels. Here's a quick update on everything that we have done to our campervan build so far.
Updates include:
-- Flarespace flares to widen the back end and allow us to sleep sideways, creating more floorspace in the van for furniture and essentials.
-- The new Flarespace bed (more on that in a future video). It's going to be huge!
-- A roof fan for ventilation.
-- Extra van windows, both sliding (with bug screens) and the CR Lawrence T-Vent drivers-side window
-- An Eberspacher Espar D2 diesel air heater
-- RB Components over-cabin shelf
-- Insulation
-- Sound-deadening and rattle reduction!
We're now ready for the next phase of our DIY van build: to install flooring and wall paneling.

A big shout out to Esplori, a professional van conversion company in Bend, Oregon, who did the heavy lifting (and scary roof/wall cutting) and installed many of the parts featured in this video.
3d interior design work has also been going on and we think our final layout decision has been made, so now it's down to materials, colors and detailing - We can't wait to show you what we have planned for this tiny house on wheels!
