You are an amazing person. Next time you tried employing someone and you find out they've taken another job after you've discussed with them move on and leave them be. People can be very cunning. She may have gotten a better offer but because she felt guilt tripped she came to you and decide to make you make up for it in the worse way. Humans. I'm just glad that this nanny stage is just for a time. Blessings to you👼🙏❤️

I remember it was this or a previous househelp video that caused me to love your channel. I miss this. You're such a good storyteller. I haven't given "What is That?" a chance because when I see two people on the screen I felt disheartened, like, "So no more stories?" and didn't bother to subscribe with this channel. I think it's because I could also really relate to many of your experiences. This popped up in my feed yesterday and I'm going to watch it and the other video again. I hope I've expressed myself kindly.. and I trust that God is helping and building and strengthening you, and that you now, like me, FINALLY have a good nanny.

Beautiful hair.❤️ ...big difference between trying to save someone i.e. helping them escape the reality of life and being kind. The former makes gets you used and taken for granted. You will be giving to someone to drink or even give the cash to a boyf or girlf at your expense. Unfortunately/fortunately I learnt this last year. No one saves me, not saving anyone else either. I deal with all my problems and live by my means. *Not just about DMS but about humans in general.

1. As difficult as it may be for some mums out there, never show any form of desperation for a househelp/nanny when interviewing them, before they start working for you or even when they are working for you. The "God bless you" message you sent her in the beginning gave her leverage to come & manipulate you. She felt you owed her for her abandoning the other job. 2. Have boundaries with your nanny/househelp. Your oversharing the previous nanny's flaws with her also gave her confidence to continue milking you😂😂. If possible, get her uniforms to keep things professional. She is not your sister, cousin or other female relative - she is an employee and should be treated respectfully but at arms' length. 3. Someone who steals and lies no matter how little or small is still guilty. You should have let her go at the point of her lying about okoa jahazi. Never let issues snowball before handling them especially if its a dealbreaker for you. 4. Be very wary of day bugs or nannies who travel between your home and theirs frequently like on weekends. You might just be shopping for 2 households. I have stories of such who basically steal house supplies from their employers. Not all are thieves but be very alert incase you have one with such a working arrangement. 5. Don't invest emotionally on househelps. Treat them respectfully and kindly but don't overindulge yourself (back to keeping boundaries).Remember they are there because you are paying them - if you had no cash to pay them, they might sympathise with you briefly but they will leave so to them cash is king.
