Easily the Best draft class since 2017. A+ All the picks hit on the money but the most important pick in my opinion was at QB. Spencer Rattler still can't believe the Saints got Rattler in the 5th round. He's gonna do well in New Orleans, Kubiak system complements his skill set perfectly, once he gets experience and game time reps, its a wrap! A QB with that kind of talent on a rookie contract? This will allow the Saints invest money in other positions and add new pieces to the team. Perfect situation

I think Rattler and Kubiak are really good for the Saints nation morale. Can't say this without being offensive, but Derek Carr is our bridge qb with high upside. Dennis Allen is our bridge head coach. It's just a matter of time, a new path is forged.

Im now a lifelong Saints fan. Rattler was such a huge value pick since 1st round QB picks isnt even a guaranteed success. Who knows maybe Rattler would 1 day have a documentary of the Rattler 6 or maybe he's gone before he even starts. But I think the current roster is competitive even with the cap situation. Hope its still competitive by the time Rattler starts.

If you love a QB with talent with something to prove then you must love Carr. Carr has tremendous arm talent with a stronger arm and quicker release than Rattler, plus he is right now a proven veteran QB.

I honestly think he's going to develop into a starting NFL QB. He's mature now, and seems ready to put in the work. He has more arm talent than most of the QBs taken in round 1 in my opinion too.

I think he is the most ready to play QB because his O-Line he had at SC he can pretty much not crumble when under pressure. This guy has it factor. The guys that got picked ahead of him at QB were crazy. They had Great O-lines. I had him as the second best QB in the draft.

Let's go Rattler! Great pick in the 5th for sure. He's obviously a risk but his upside is extremely high. Hell of an arm too! As a Gamecock fan watching him the past two seasons he was far from lazy. Honestly I didn't like him when he came but he put in the work and got up off his back multiple times a game and carried the team! His heart drive and worth ethic are the last things I would ever question. Progression and decision making definitely need some work tho!

A tremendous value at round 5. Better than Nix ,Mccarthy, Penix. Good arm , a little undersized. Played and learned three different offenses. This guy knows pressure. Played behind the worst possible o line. Very little help at receiver. This guy will probably last 5-8 years in the NFL. Tremendous value.

Let's face it this is a great pick. He has more of a chance to be a starting QB in the NFL, than anyone other than Carr, on the roster, right now. We did not waste a first round pick...like the dirty birds. His character at 17? Who was mature at 17? Awesome addition in the fifth round. No brainer!

Was the number 1 player out of high school, and got beat out by the number 1 pick in the draft at Oklahoma. His players and coaches love him. I hope he is something else. I never thought the saints would have a shot at Rattler after round 2 even with trade. He was the only QB I thought the saints should look at realistically this Draft, but was shocked he was there after 4 Rounds. People can be so stupid. What a low risk Gamble- heck they used another 5th round pick as just one of 2 sweeteners to move up a couple of spots to get Kool-aid! No guarantees with any pick but he started over Caleb at Oklahoma before they both left for the east and west coast USCs. Chances are not astronomical that what he learned by playing in a against top ACC opponents plus SEC opponents like Georgia and Tennessee (nice upset) on one of the weakest ACC programs will serve him very well in knowledge and temperament. Stoked to have 2 outstanding passers compete for the future starting spot in a couple of years- unless Carr, under Kubiak does a Brock Purdy before his guaranteed contract is up in 2 years- which we all hope for but wouldn’t yet bet much on. Looking forward to the preseason as much as the opener to see what our developmental QBs can do on the field.

Spencer played in the SEC for 2 years. And the Gamecocks had one of the more difficult conference schedules. South Carolina is an SEC team. The only ACC team South Carolina plays every year is Clemson who are a top program with excellent defense

Spencer had something no other QB picked above him had:a team with simultaneously one of the worst Olines in the country, one of the worst running games in the country, only 1 reliable receiver, one of the worst defenses. Starters on Oline, WR and RB getting injured before the season started and being replaced by 2 and 3 deep back ups. South Carolina didn't have 5 or 4 stars. Xavier Legette first round pick was not even WR2 before last season. But w Spencer he became one of the best receivers in the SEC and country. In 2022 Juice Wells w Rattler became an all SEC WR and again one of the best in country. He is seen as a potential first round pick. He wasn't before Spencer

Tennessee is the only team in the country that runs the sets they run so it makes it tough to evaluate their qbs. It's the same thing scout's said when it came to Hooker last draft but Hooker had better talent at receiver than Milton so he looked a little better than Joe did. Matt, you are clueless as usual. He lasted until the 5th round because he sucks. His RAS was 2.5 and his 40 time was 5.0 which is slower than 300 LB lineman. Also, his processing is very slow. SMH!

Joe Milton is a superior player to Anthony Richardson as a passer and runner and as an overall talent and Richardson went top 10 last year. How the hell do you pass on Milton for Ratler garbage ass. Ratler isn’t in the same universe as Milton as a talent or passer or athlete. This is why the saints will continue to be a mediocre franchise as long as Loomis is here.

No draft pick is gonna get us a nfc south title. Went 9-8 with the easiest schedule, couldn't even beat the bucs at home. Now we gotta play the afc west, gotta play the rams, gotta play the falcons twice. This is a 7-10 team probably

@@frostyeditz8880 I hope that's our record, so that Allen gets fired. My ideal season is Kubiak turns the offense around enough that he gets the HC job when Allen fails again. Then, I hope we bench carr even though we're paying him a ton of money. If Rattler pans out, then we have a starter on a rookie deal. So, paying Carr would suck but we could justify it by saying Rattler should be making Carr's money anyway.
