I rolled the dice with a supposedly oem MAF from Amazon. It worked out for me being genuine but it’s probably not worth the risk for the couple bucks I saved over getting one from Subaru.

You've got something bigger going on than just your cam timing being over advanced. 2 motors in 2 weeks is insane and I'd be questioning whoever sold you the motor.

I switched to speed density as well, just installed an IAT sensor in the intercooler piping. It's a lot easier to tune than the MAF system for me and the car runs a lot smoother.

Hey, I'm not Josh but I tune Subarus as well. The answer is really dependent on other variable in your tune like how aggressive your timing map is and how much boost you are running. I did some reading on ACN91 as I've never used it, but it looks like its just regular 91 oct with some added detergents. 10.8-11 is usually a pretty safe AFR, though if you're not seeing any knock on your current tune then I wouldn't worry about it. If it's in the low 10's on your AFR gauge then you could likely lean it out a bit more, but again it depends on the timing and boost.

yellowsubie thanks for the reply man!! also, is it usual that the wideband on top of my downpipe post turbo, reads richer than the actual narrowband of the car on the front? i do know the fuel trims are still dictated on the front sensor, but how is the afr adjusted using the wideband? do u still follow front?

Maybe a post MAF air leak. Unmetered air is getting into the system somewhere.

@@soopermarkus Will look into it, its a cobb sf intake. Holds 14.5/1 then randomly goes to 17/1 every so often its weird.

@@BaderBuiltRacing cant wait to see cause of that quite high oil pressure... Im guessing it was some thick oil viscosity used like 50 or 60 weight oil? Along with too many oilpump relief valve shim... Is the engine built? Bevause i can hear cold start piston slapping... If the engine was bone stock ej207...better do leakdown test just to be sure that there is no ringland issue... And last thing...if he really have ej207, using 205 ecu or some other jdm wrx (non sti) ecu map, that mostlikely causing some minor issue super rich at cold start and choppyness on low speed low rpm rolling drive... (Tgv cold start map vs sti non tgv cold start map)...

Your oil pressure sensor is likely not working. If you had 6 psi oil pressure under boost your motor would be destroyed lol.

Victor do you have an AOS or a catch can? If not, highly suggest to fix that oil in your intake issue

Adam Swartz I have grimmspeed aos when I hit boost and stop driving turn of the car oil come in my air intake

@@bh_media22 yep usually between 14.5-14.7 tuner got it dialed.

FA are more knock sensitive on pump gas fuel so it’s not uncommon to be more rich to help keep combustion cooler, in return to keep away from detonation

Still seems high. But we also dont know if the car is setup to run a thicker oil. Which could have a part in it.

@@nfsfanAndrew indeed a higher viscosity oil would definitely cause higher pressure as well.

Even once the car was at a fully warm idle, the moment you touch the gas it goes to 85 psi...

@@BaderBuiltRacing Perhaps the issue could be the current use of a larger oil pump over-pressurizing the bypass causing it to not regulate the pressure anymore but just act as pressure relief?
