It seems like every time there is a major innovation in industry that no one predicted but becomes big part of economy the early adopters becomes rich no matter the social class they started in. But once the industry is established the door closes for middle class and poor people to enter the market. Because the Old Money and New Money Groups were already established and use their money to increase their riches by investing in new infrastructure, technology, educated employees, land, and advertisement. Making the initial investment to get in to the now no longer new Industry beyond what anyone but the wealthy to afford.

Why operas are for rich🎉 people? The answer is easy: the ticket price. When I took Introduction to Music in college, my professor required us to attend an orchestral concert. I asked if I could go to see an opera instead. She said I could, but warned me the opera's tickets were expensive.

Actually, tickets range anywhere from $25 -$39 if you create an account with the MET Opera and create your own account for free. It’s quite affordable to attend. I just watched Turandot at the Met Opera last week, purchased rush tickets for $25 dollars and had amazing orchestra seats in row C.
