I have used an aftermarket sleeve on my 5s before, it's just cumbersome to use than a case. You need 2 hands to operate the phone.

This is kinda a cool concept also from the perspective that you don’t get distracted from the notifications appearing all the time on the screen without necessarily turning Do Not Disturb, but having a possibility to check time anytime as the only visually available part of the screen👍

Yeah exactly! I would imagine constantly taking the phone out of the sleeve could eventually stretch the sleeve out in some way

The sleeve was great and came with extra things other sleeve in the market did not have, such as wake and sleep, display the time, see who is calling without taking it out of the sleeve, but what made it fail was a few reasons: - The price was too high and we could get a top leather in the market for less. - The leather was stiff and taking it out and in was very hard which made a lot of people not to like it. - Most people prefer to have a case for protection while using it. However, I love leather sleeves and I always get one for my iPhone, but yet most of the market prefers cases > sleeves.

Dude, I respect you, I adore your channel, etc. but this case is, first of all, not comfortable, and secondly, it could be popular and now it can be popular only among old people. Perhaps in America, such cases are quite popular and cool - but in Ukraine, it's mostly people 60+ who use them

In addition to pricing the Leather Sleeve beyond reason, Apple didn't fully develop the use case. The little window served more than just displaying the time, and incoming callers. Because the case has an NFC chip in it, the iPhone 12 (and iOS) could put any number of indicators in that window. Some have speculated on uses that Apple never implemented. Alas, the iPhone 13 and 14 with iOS 17 don't use the window properly anymore (why, Apple?? Why??). Note: the MagSafe magnets in the Sleeve aid placement of a MagSafe charger. In the case of the Mini Sleeve, they're strong enough to hold phone & sleeve on a tilted charger (depends upon the charger, of course). Note: an iPhone 14 Plus fits in the Apple Leather Sleeve for iPhone 12 Pro Max! The 14 Plus' camera cluster is smaller, which causes no trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if a 14 Pro Max and even 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max would fit in the same Sleeve. Since they're going for as low as $8 on Amazon (depending upon color; Deep Purple and Saddle Brown seem to command higher prices, go figure 🤔). Unfortunately, later iPhones and versions of iOS don't display the time right in the window. Note: yes, the Sleeve makes the phone a bit wider in the pocket, but the leather is so slim, it doesn't add much thickness to an iPhone. I like the Sleeve for this. It protects the phone's screen from keys and other things in a pants pocket, and you can answer the phone if you have AirPods or other Bluetooth ear buds (or CarPlay). Suggestion: clean up phones before putting on camera? No one wants to see reviewers' skin flakes or dandruff.

I never knew this product even existed! I can see now why such a product failed. First of all, who wants their phone in a sleeve? It's bulky, will showcase wear and tear very visibly and is just a nuisance having to pull your phone out of it every time.
