Tory is a classic case of a kid with a rough upbringing. She believes that the world is out to get her due to all her past experiences. But everything changes when people offer assistance. Tory realizes that the world isn't so ugly and she doesn't have to go through this alone. There are good people out there who will love and support you. Aside from that, I can't get the moment out of my head. The one when Tory saw Terry Silver bribing the referee. As Mr. Miyagi said, "Never put passion before principle. Even if win, you lose." She has to do the right thing. This the point where she has to decide, "No Mercy," or "No Honor."

Since Tory beat Sam I felt like the more mature person won. After Tory landed that last kick she immediately went up to Sam and ask if she was okay. I feel like if Sam won she would’ve shit all over Tory and shove it in her face

With every season the show finds ways to completely surprise me with the journey it takes these characters and challenge how I feel about them. I've honestly loved every season and because Cobra Kai debuted two seasons in 2021, it's probably my favorite show that came out last year

I find her relationship with Amanda this season rather interesting as it wasn't a direction I was execpting, given how hostile she has thought of tori since the last 2 seasons. I wonder if tori thinks that Sam's parents grew up in a privileged background like Sam did thinking that had it easy. But in truth their history is more like hers, particularly in Amanda's case which is why she was able to help her start sorting out her life. Since it probably due to that they were able to raise Sam to be a decent person and not the typical upper-class girl like Yasmin initially was, which tori probably thinks Sam is for the last few seasons.

I actually love how balanced this guy's analysis of the characters and lessons of Cobra Kai 🐍 are. He never seems to let his personal opinions of the character taint his assessment, or stop him from seeing all aspects and progression of the characters. The teenage mellow drama is the worst part of the show to me, but seeing the breakdowns and call backs actually helped me remember some of the scenes I looked past. Bringing it all together and giving me a better perspective as a whole, so thanks ✨

Tory’s going to have a moment in season 5

I'll defend S3 Tori on the account that most of the "important" characters need to have a really high or a really low point in their "hero's journey". Whereas Eli/Hawk was Season 2, Tori was Season 3. Part of it also playing into the overall theme of Cobra Kai as the students are a "product" from their Sensei's teachings. Until Season 2, most former Cobra Kai students where following under Johnny's mentorship. Whereas S3, Tori began to follow more under Kreese. With Kreese being more vengeful towards Miyagi-Do, it's likely Tori took more from it to heart. Kreese (initially) was more about "taking what's yours". In his case, when his Dojo lost to the "mysterious dojo" back in 84 still torments him to that day. An old man and a scared boy entering his dojo of black belt no mercy fighting students. Losing to dojo consisted of 1 person. There's no way he's gonna let that go. Rubbing that off on Tori, she'd see Sam as "that chick that took what was mine". Because Kreese had no "leash" like he did when he was with Johnny in S2, Kreese was able to use his philosophy. Both of which helped and tainted Tori. With S4, Tori is able to talk to more people as well as confide with. While I was thinking Julie would be the one that could show Tori a better way to vent, I was surprised that Amanda filled those shoes. I believe that Amanda being another positive female role model is also what helped Tori start to see the other picture. While Kreese was the dad she never had. Amanda somewhat became the mother that's there for her. I liked it overall because it shows how much Kreese's philosophy corrupts the mind. Especially, when we see how Hawk starts to "stop drinking the kool-aid" when he's like "shit. I'm actually the bully now". Funny too, because Kreese actually softens up whenever he's around Tori. Maybe reflecting something he "could have had" with his lover back in his hayday that now turned him into such a bitter man. (wink wink) Tori probably makes Kreese think of the daughter he could have had as Johnny was the son he could have had. I'm sure she'll stay with Cobra Kai but more like a "secret agent". Visiting Kreese to keep tabs on Silver. At the same time, tension between her and Silver may rise. When you think about it, Silver actually gets scary intimidating when you start questioning his methods as hinted from Karate Kid 3 when Daniel began bringing up about "illegal contacts". The line that stood out to me was that "Are you here to teach or to be taught?" Kinda annoys me how critics said "he was too goofy" when it turns out that Terry's scary af. He has that polite, welcoming air, but when something's not going his way, that switch clicks fast. I feel that Tori would have to be careful around Silver when it comes to questioning or going against his teachings. Even if she was to interrogate/confront Stingray, she'd have to make sure that Silver doesn't catch wind of this or catch her in the act. As for S5 Tori, she'd be on some thin eggshells if she stays with Cobra Kai. As for S5; honestly, I'd like to see Chris, Mitch, Nate, and Bert get more Ws. I know they're side characters, but, I'd like to see them get some rise to. Like, Bert finally beating someone who towers over him. Chris got a W during S2. Hell, Kenny was introduced in S4 and already got 5 Ws.

YES! My favorite female character in the series 💯

I really enjoyed that Tory had someone that wanted to help her. It was great writing that they made Amanda that person. Maybe she'll eventually join Myagi-Do since it's clear that Terry Silvers Cobra Kai is going to be really unhinged. Also looking forward to see if Kreese might change his attitudes towards Daniel and Johnny now that he sees what Silver is capable of.

While I still don't like Tory as a character, I do admit that she had a decent character arc and would like to see her have more of a redemption arc next season since she no longer wants to fight dirty.

I feel like next season, Sam would be as worst than Tory was, maybe even while Tory is better than what Sam was. Sam would join Cobra Kai Terry becomes a very bad influence on her, making ruthless. She’s tried pick fights with Tory but physically hurts everyone she loves in the process. While Tory joins Miyagi do. Daniel doesn’t like a first, but thanks to Amanda, he willing to give her a chance and she became quickly his best and favorite student. Tory tries to apologize to Sam for hurting her, and tries to deescalate any fight. Daniel and Miguel got hurt the process. Tory helps them. Tory expresses how she’s going help Sam get away from of Terry’s hands and reconcile with Miguel for the pain she put him through and she and Miguel become good friends. And Miguel trains her in eagle eye too. Then Sam and Tory have final fight, combining Miyagi do, Cobra Kai, and Eagle eye styles and, it ends with Tory won, but shows mercy to Sam.

At the beginning, I loved Tory. And even during the school fight, until the moment she used a weapon, and tried to murder Sam, that I couldn't except. So I started hating her. And prior to season 4, I wished death/lifetime prison for her, and who would have believed, now, I love her all over again. I don't care that she never truly defeated Sam, to me she is the better fighter, the real champion, and yes I know, Terry bribed the ref, I meant her personality, is that of a true champion.

I think that she’s joining Eagle Fang or Miyagi-Do. I don’t think she’s gonna stay in Cobra Kai, unless Silver blackmails her.

She could join miyagi do because in season 5 there's only way Daniel and chozen are the keys to help her to find her balance.

It's Amanda, she truly found an adult who actually cares. Kreese does care but since he brainwashes the kids into doing stupid things, it's what helped lead her into being far more aggressive that what you wanted. Amanda though didn't need to help the girl who twice almost permanently injured or even killed her daughter but she did. Remember when Tory had that conversation with her aunt and got threatened by her, she went strait to Amanda because she thought she could help. Without Amanda's influences Tory would still be in the same place she was.

Are you doing Miguel next?

Eagle Fang and Miyagi Do aren’t going to exist in season 5. Remember the deal? Cobra Kai was the winner therefore they have to close down. It’ll be Chozen Karate vs Cobra Kai. Chozen will take in the members of those respective dojos

I'm torn between Tory having a redemption story and not. On one hand Tory is my favorite female character, the other they've had two already. And look to have two others with Kreese and Robbie. It's too many my biggest worry is it'll feel tiresome and stale. It would be better if it was just Tory because they spent more time with Torys redemption arc. With Kreese and Robbie it was more subtle. Who knows maybe they'll do it right and i'll be happy. I have for all four seasons.

Season 4 was definitely the weakest season out of the whole series, however one of the high point was Tory's character change. I've been in Tory's corner since day one. She's not evil her heart is just frozen due to everything in her life that she has to deal with. Now her heart is healing and she's starting to see that not everyone in the world is against her. Her character got even better in Season 5 granted Season 5 is the best Season since Season 2.

I love Tory.. But... Sam needs to admit her faults. Sam never takes responsibility for her actions. The fight at the after Prom fight Sam had no right to get mad seeing Robby with Tori. She cheated on both Miguel and Robby. I really want Tory to stay with Robby. She has had it tough.

I hope tory doesn't get redeemed too quickly or easily. I want her to suffer greatly for her redemption. She caused too much pain and I absolutely hate her. She instigated the school fight which almost ruined miguel and robby's life. And then she attacked sam in her own home. All the while she only saw her own problems and never considered others. And when faced with the consequences of her actions she pretends to be the victim. She deserves painful punishment for her to be redeemed.

I really like Tori’s character in season four I didn’t like her in the previous seasons I liked her more in season four. I think if Tori‘s mom dies in season five I think she will join Daniel and chosen because kris will be in jail she does not trust silver and Johnny will be a Mexico. I also think when she finds out Chris is in jail I think she’ll come to the Larosa’s house and tell them that silver paid the raft. another reason why I think she’ll join chosen and Daniel is because she was getting close to Amanda and so I think she would rather be with Daniel chosen then Silver. I don’t even think they will have eagle fang in season five since Johnny will be in Mexico so the other dojo Tori could join is Miyagido then cobra Kai. maybe the riders will put in season five only cobra Kai and Miyagido we know silver is opening cobra Kai dojo’s all over the valley. maybe for the first time we will see in season five Tori Robbie Miguel Eli Dimitri Sam all fighting for Miyagido be all against cobra Kai and trying to take them down in season five I cannot wait till season five comes out

I think this show would have been better with better acting Sam is pretty and they try to write her in but to me she is just not a good actor. The Miguel character is good actor same with all the old characters but most of these young characters can’t act worth a shit but I still somewhat like the show

Sam is just an itch that I've never liked out of all of this series the character is just a stroppy needy brat. She plays victim, antagonises cobra kai and plays Miguel and robby against each other where is the mercy of miyagi do. If anything Sam and tory should be in the opposit martial arts school. Tory has had changes, Sam has just gotten more and more rotten
