I set out on a mission to find the WORST horror movie ever and through a long and terribly boring process I finally landed on Troll 2 a movie about goblins....not trolls....with the worst acting I've ever seen and the CRAZIEST story to a movie I had the pleasure of watching so I hope you enjoy!

I remember watching a documentary about this movie and it was called " the best worst movie ever made" and i think that is the perfect description lmao i loved this movie when i was a kid i had it on vhs

4:20 This kind of thing happens a lot in horror movie/shows. In Kenan and Kel's "2 Heads are Better than None" there's a guy who warns the family "stay away from Rockville". Or in Goosebumps Piano Lessons Can Be Murder, the ghost says "stay away from the Shriek School"

alright fine! i’ll say it since no one else can! *sigh* the evil witch was kinda hot though also, on a more serious note, this feels like if goosebumps catered to adults. that’s the vibe i got after a while

I can almost feel the story that this was supposed to be. There is definitely something bizarre and horrifying here. It sorta sucks because it could have been something incredibly unique. Instead, it just sucks... Poor execution on all fronts.

Honestly, if you ever want an awful cheesy dumb movie to discuss(not that i think you're running out of those any time soon), Jack Frost. The horror movie version. The opening, like, five minutes alone, with the narration? Its just horrendous, and the actual plot is worse.

For context, if you've never seen this Twilight Zone episode, The Bewitching Pool, it's a pretty standard plot that manages to be infamously awful. Two kids finding a supernatural means to get some time away from their bickering parents; that's it. Like I said, standard. But the story behind the story is actually way more interesting; apparently, like a day after it was aired in the sixties, there was some fire or whatever at the warehouse where the recordings of the episode were stored. I guess every other episode that was damaged, they had backup recordings of, but not this one. So they brought in the adult actors to re-record their lines, but what about the kids? They've gone through puberty by now, their voices won't sound right(or some crap like that, I can't remember). They bring in June Foray, aka Rocky from Rocky And Bullwinkle, to voice two kids, a boy and a girl. Easily the most off-putting episode of the original series, and it has nothing to do with anything intentional. Those kids sounded nothing like any kids that have ever existed. Now, with THAT in mind, when I tell you that the opening narration of Jack Frost is THE WORST voiceover work I've ever heard. That Twilight Zone episode doesn't come close. The kid from that opening- and if you ever do JF you can quote me directly- sounds like the '66 version of Cindy Lou Who choking on a live cat. (sidebar, when looking up the old Grinch movie to make sure I had the right year on that, whose name should pop up but June Foray. Small world. Probably did CLW.)
