God ordains every marriage that is according to His will because it aligns with his purpose. The only marriages He will not ordains are marriages that are not valid. But if you choose a spouse and get married the right way, then it's ordained.

God presented Eve to Adam is not the same as God choosing. There was only one woman created at that time and so there wasn't an issue of choice. If you study the previous verses, notice that when God said I will make him a helper, God didn't immediately create a woman. He created animals first. God made Eve as a help meet but it was Adam who saw her as a wife. God presented her to see what he would say. And yes, God can orchestrate and make room for you to meet your spouse.

The scriptures you provided do not say God "Chooses" your spouse. When the Bible says God made them male and Female, it was talking about gender and not matchmaking. First of all the statement that says a man shall leave his father and his mother and cleave to his wife was originally made directly by Adam in Genesis which was in alignment with God's will hence Jesus referenced it in the new testament. (Genesis 2:23-24). Secondly, God indeed joins because it is an institution created by Him. But there is not a single verse anywhere in the Bible where God specifically tells anyone to marry a specifically named person. Not even 1. He leads you, creates circumstances but the ultimate decision is yours. And the one you finally settle or choose to marry becomes "The one". In the case of Adam and Eve, they were the first people on the planet so that would make sense because there was only one option. Even in the case of Mary the mother of Jesus, the angel simply said be not afraid to take Mary as your wife. This was not a choice but it was because Joseph had already chosen her but he was doubting and afraid. This was an encouragement and not a direct command. He was telling her not to be afraid because he was afraid. In the case of Abraham (Isaac and Rebecca) the servant prayed and God provided him options. And he chose based on the conduct he saw. Abraham too had no specific woman in mind but he prayed for God to lead his servant. God told Hosea to marry a prostitute but he did not specify or name any woman. Hosea went out and made his own choice (Gommer). Apsotle Paul says when a person is choosing, let that person choose in the Lord. He didn't say go and marry a specific named person. As long as you have the Holy Spirit, he will guide you. The Bible says he that finds a wife and not "the" wife. It means you need to search and trust God to help you find one. And that person you find becomes "the one" depending if the person's values aligns with God's. The Spirit of God will guide you but He will not impose or force you to marry someone against your will. It says find A wife which means its not specific or definite. Please can you provide any scripture in the Bible where God directly calls the name of any individual and says "Marry this or that specific person?". Apostle Paul in the new testament directly revealed how God's will works in relation to marriage which is very contrary to what most people including you say. In 1 Corinthians 7:39, Paul said: "The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord." Notice that Paul said she is free to marry whosoever she wants to marry BUT ONLY in the Lord. Implying that her new husband should be a Christian, adhering to the faith. Now, if we are to go by your words to say God "assigns from birth every one a specific spouse, that would mean that widow or widower will be marrying another man's spouse which would be wrong.

Eleazar found Rebekah for Isaac according to God's guidance. It was God's Will for Rebekah to get married to Isaac so the issue is this get married to God-ordained Marriage wife. Remember they were already engaged in the first place. Also, Joseph was not the only person from David's lineage :). It could have been anyone. The Bible says all things work together... As for Isaac and Rebekah, you left out both the prayers of Abraham and the servant. When you read the context of both prayers, you will then realize that they had no "Specific person in mind". In fact you still agreed with what i said that God will lead you but does not make decisions for you. Not Quite :) To answer your question, Yes, you can have a wrong spouse when they do not align with God's ways. Jezebel and Ahab, King Solomon and his wives, the daughters of canaan. The reason they were wrong was because they were not in alignment with God and could lead you away from God. As i said earlier, Paul answered the question. Marry whom you will but ONLY in the Lord.

God is indeed sovereign and Lord of all. However, he does not violate our freewill. He expects us to use His Spirit to guide us to choose.

God initially made animals and offered to Adam. He didn't make Eve first when He said it is not good for man to be alone. Secondly God made Eve as a Helper (Ezer) but he chose to see her more than a helper.
