While the baits and rigs used for carp fishing can seem complicated and expensive, they don't have to be. Just get an in-line lead and some sweet corn and you're in business!

I’ve tried corn several times with no luck but I’ve caught a TON of carp lately using your mix bait recipe. And white bread which you also suggested 👍

Good stuff man . I cought my pb tonight 30" carp at my local bayou in westchase . I learned to use bread and a little corn from your vids. It's like candy to them . Probably my last time fishing cause covid

I’m having trouble catching catfish on my local lake and river. I’m using cut Shad sitting on baits for hours without bites. Am I fishing spots that are too easily accessible to the public?

@@beachbuster9716 well what I'd recommend for any river system is to locate geographic features on the riverbed that will attract them (holes, humps, etc). Luke on Catfish and Carp has some great videos on what to look for to find catfish on a river system. All of my success in catching catfish comes from information that other fishermen or biologists shared with me specific to the area. When I go in blind, I rarely catch good catfish.

Bud try taking chicken breast cut up and soak it in a packet of cherry Kool aid if they don't bite that there's none in your area.

Yeah, it's a very good trout bait (at least as far as the stocked rainbows in Texas go)
