This 650,000bpd Dangote Refineries, *450,000bpd old port Harcourt, Warri & Kaduna refinaries to resume production next year 2025, *200,000bpd BUA refinery, Akwa Ibom. *100,000bpd 3rd port Harcourt refinaries & * 100,000bpd, 25 Modular refinaries under construction will make Nigeria a major refined petroleum products exporter from 2025. Indorama petrochemicals is expanding their production capacity with $14billion. Nigeria is investing $13billion to increase its crude oil production to 2.6mbpd. $10billion to double its current LNG with the Train 7. Train 8 is 30% completed. All the above projects will more than double Nigerian export revenue to stabilise the value of the Naira from next year 2025 - 2027.

If they are facts, then Nigeria is ready. A revamp of Nigeria's steel industry will greatly complement it's industrialisation process.

Nigerian oil, compared to crude oil from the Middle East, is lighter and does not damage engine parts and causes less pollution compared to the conventional one we use. Plus it is expensive given the impurities that are found in it leading to it being processed at every stage whereas Nigerian oil seems not to go too much processing. It will definitely go a long way in lower insurance premiums for motorists which will not make certain sectors hell bent on ripping people off on their monthly premiums happy. Nevertheless, this kind of oil will be a best seller by value. Happy spoke about the impact of this move regarding the Naira.

That is where the problem is, the administrators of this new wealth. Unless we get visionary leaders, this current ones will just blow it up in flame and smoke. The big question is this, how have they managed the ' little ' so far? Can they be trusted with much?

The Lithium, Cobalt and nickel used in making the batteries of electric cars are by far more limited in supply than petroleum. Statistics show that, if the world becomes dominated by EVs, it would take just 70 years for all lithium to be depleted. More to that, the extraction of lithium also emits gases that are dangerous to the planet. We all wish a better source of energy emerges until then, we have to enjoy what we have.

It will not. The reason is that it's not allowed a great percentage of the 400 million people in Nigeria out of poverty meaning that the table is tilted the wrong way for the west. And dangote refinery is built with European components and that's a very, very weak point
