Will Hayter's best current mower work after being in storage for nearly a year.

After 11 months in storage will the Toro Prostripe 560 work?
Good thing I ran it out of fuel before storing it.
The Toro version of the Hayter Harrier 56 chassis, with specific features for the sports environment. Such as: Kawasaki engine, 3 speed gearbox, extra wide front wheels and match cut technology to enable fine adjustment of the height of cut.

Greg, I really need your advice. My old 48cm wide mower is falling apart; I'd prefer one size larger (53cm) for my home lawn; ready to spend for a professional high quality machine. The problem is that my lawn is based on fescue grass with very fine leaves which my current mower has problem collecting. What mower would you recommend (I don't want stripping); Toro Proline is probably made for coarser lawns, Stihl 655VS is not worth its price, Stiga with a Honda engine or Honda HRD536 ?

Hi. Not sure on various grass types. Honda hrh is a solid unit. As is Weibang virtue 53. How they perform on fine leaves I don’t know. Where are you based?

@@GregsMowing , en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karst_Plateau ; and I've made a typo: fescue with fine leaves - ornamental :D ; I need a machine with a fine cut and very good collecting. Honda HRH is maybe too massive for home use; I've been looking at Honda HRD536HXE; Stiga twinclip 955B with Honda engine, Toro HD Proline 22285. But maybe there is a better option. 😁

Hi Greg know anywhere I can buy one of these had nothing but problems with drive this season on another brand 😂 think it's time for a change I'm just outside Surrey area cheers

Hi Tom, what brand you had issues with? The rollers are same as Hayter and are designed to be maintained. Not left for a year after ruse in the rain etc. Will need rebuild. Ask your Hayter dealer if they can get one in. Or else a Toro dealer. Bit complicated for some reason. If you’re not far from Surrey give MPS Garden Machinery a call. In effingham near J9 on m25. I do bits for them so always gonna give them sales.

I'm having problems with Honda mowers just rollers and gear boxes second year they are on bit disappointing can the dealer you have contact with get them cheers

I haven’t given up. Only part time now 50/50 with working at my local dealership on the driver role at MPS Garden Machinery

@@GregsMowing doesn't hurt to do something different especially as age creeps in. I'd love to do the job till the day I die but my bodies saying no to that already.
