We take our modified Mercury pile of garbage a couple hundred miles away to attempt to destroy the Low Budget Off-Road racing machine that was built to participate in the GAMBLER 500 "Missourah Endurah" September Sender event (mogambler500.com/) at the Hooter Holler Off Road Mountain Grove in Missouri. Will the low-budget race car survive? Will Dalton survive?

@@quagshred I still like the guy, but his videos started to get too homogeneous. Too many variations on the same jokes, too much family friendly hokiness, and too many racecar builds and my interest flagged. Still enjoy his vids from time to time and wish him the best, but Dalton's content is superior.

You can buy all the aftermarket body panels to make your own 1969 charger and build yourself a General Lee!!!! Maybe even jump it? I know someone has already done that with a crown Vic but i don't believe it was really documented plus it would just be cool as hell to have one even if it isn't a real one lol it will still look like the real thing from the outside. 👍🏼

I watch different people do this event for the last couple years and I always thought it was really good idea get a bunch of beaters I have to do this crazy trip with them it just looks like a bunch of fun. I know this episode is going to be epic.

Whiskey coffee's would of kept you warm Mr. Rode a 77 Suzuki 1000 back from Romania to uk a good few moons back. Got everything bar the kitchen sink AND WATERPROOFS! on the bike. Doh!. Pissed it down all the way home. Wild camping. No hotel money. A litre bottle of homemade whiskey donated by some kind Romanian family saved our bacon i reckon. No shit. Gamble on Mr. I love your videos ❤

Looked like a fun time and I'd be down for cruising in that Merc. Reminds me of the good ol days Country cruzzin in my buddy's K5 Blazer..the roof came off at the windshield. 5 people comfortably numb with a couple cases of wobble pops and a big bag of happiness listening to CCR. Everybody was dustier than Hell and our hair was like a wire brush. Good Times and nobody got hurt! Keep the Merc as is..it's built for fun times and great adventures...just stash a Skidoo suit in her when it gets too cold. Thanks for the ride along and Take care Guys!

Didn't see ya there, but you got #hulagirlslastride the old square body that could in the Saturday morning shot, I didn't plan on driving that truck there, 940 mile round trip from the Southside of Chicago, there, then 300+ miles of back roads and gravel. Very dusty, but made some new friends and hung out with the #brokentoaster crew

I found that I'd been subconsciously keeping an eye on your air filter all throughout. It's hard to believe that you forgot to pack a tarp for the top. If you were to take out the back window, you might pick up quite a few mpg and mph.

I took my hot rod to WOW at Bartle once. Of course, it turned cold af, and started snowing on the way back to the shop. No top. Bias ply tires. No fenders, so I also got a little spray in the back of my head. Oh, the memories!

I think you should weld A top back on only taller. You could find a sport ute or mini van roof to make a tall roof and the car a hatch back. Make up some tin work to vent the holes in the wheel wells out the back and put some lighting in so it looks like smoke coming out. Maybe put a pair of 8" turndown chrome stacks coming straight out the back and pointing down for the dust to exit thru. You could run the exhaust thru the stacks to help push the dust out. I think it would look cool! And be a bit drier! 🐫👍

Hey man, It was my first Gambler too. The 6 guys I ended up riding around with (over 10 separate gamblers between them, multi state) said it was the worst Gambler they have ever been to. PS. I was the sport trac guy next to you at 5:20

Bud - There's nothing like completing a road trip in something you're wondering whether will actually get there.....and giving it sh** all the way anyway! The Gambler 500 sounds like it would be a blast - especially if you're driving something you don't care about - so doing it in a 30 year old, beat-to-hell-and-gone, ex-daily, otherwise boring tub of lard on four wheels (well, most of the time) thing, with eight cylinders (well, 6 of them or so anyway) has got to be even better. After seeing the track, I have reservations about the roof mods ....as I am sure you do too, now....but it all adds to the experience and fun of the event, eh? If alternately being dusted, wet, dusted again, frozen and open to all elements can be considered "fun" of course!
