luckily, he wouldnt have died. poison doesnt kill you, only takes you to half a heart and no more than that. but if you take other damage from mobs, or fall damage, then he would be done. but the poison itself doesn't kill you.

I had worked a long day and was falling sleep while watching the stream. The injury sounds from the pufferfish woke me out of a dead sleep, and I sat up and started panicking. I had no clue what was happening and so terrified that you were done for. 😭 I couldn’t go back to sleep after that until the stream was over. lmao

Helpful tips: 1) snowballs damage blazes (they don’t damage other things even though they do the hit animation). 2) wither skeletons are 2.5 blocks tall and cannot fit through 2 block tall gaps. 3) though you’ve already found out, poison doesn’t kill you just brings you to 1/2 heart of hp, but wither does kill you. 4) milk can erase potion effects good and bad. 5) Cauldrons can hold water in the nether and can put fire out BUT does not stop fall damage (also lava can be put in a cauldron)
