Well yall we rescued this old, abandoned Buick from certain death weather that be rotting away into the ground or being sold for scrap. Shes gonna be back on the road cruising again just like the good Lord intended for all hotrods! Will the old 322ci Fireball V8 roar back to life? Hopefully that Variable Pitch Dynaflow Automatic Transmission is still with us! Car needs a few floor patches but other than that she is super solid.... worst parts gonna be fixing the front seat I'm afraid. Brakes and tires ad we should be pretty close to yard driving after we service everything! It runs! First time in atleast 6 years according to what I was told, but I think its been longer than that!
Hey yall welcome to the channel this is another great car rescue video. You know we like our barn finds and abandoned cars getting saved from a wasted life or the scrap pile. This is one stylish 1955 Buick Roadmaster Sedan! Equipped with a 322ci Fireball V8 and a Variable-pitch Dynaflow automatic transmission. Also standard equipment on the Roadmaster included power steering, backup lamps, brake warning signal lamp, and an electric clock. This car came from the same place in Florida that we saved that 1966 Pontiac GTO. Both cars went through Hurricane Michael and shortly after that the gentleman that they belonged to got sick and unfortunately passed away at an early age. We met the his sister and she offered to sell them to us and we could pass up these cool old hotrods and dont like to see them waste away. So now they will both get a new lease on life. This Buick I really hope is going to be a runner, would be awesome to get it back on the road pretty soon with out a ton of time and money. Fingers crossed its going to be a runner! Id love to put some tires on it and brakes, service everything and cruse around in this stylish automobile. Id have to get a set of whitewalls and lower the car I'd say about 3 inches. Once we get it running Ill clean the paint up with 0000 steel wool and some 409 bathroom cleaner and then get some @poppyspatina and wipe on a nice clear coat to preserve that killer patina!
