funny,when i see "Caged!" instead of Nicolas Cage i get a memories of MK character Johnny Cage,when he was starring in an episode dedicated to his character in first season of Mortal Kombat:Legacy live action series.There Johnny too was already on an downhill and one of the shows he was showing the investors got this "You got Caged!" line

@@fnafbear3138 Horror isn’t exactly what you think then. The genre horror is actually more close to creepy and meant to scare you. It doesn’t mean evil and bad or malicious characters, that stuff is common no matter the genre.

We have comedy horror, folk horror, body horror, found footage, holiday horror, psychological horror, science fiction horror, slasher, supernatural horror, Gothic horror, natural horror, zombie horror, cosmic horror.... The film is comedy horror And comedy horror is suppose to laugh on horror cliché and the film do exactly that

I freaking loved this movie. It's a straight up comedy to me. Laughed all the way through it. Don't try to think about it, just shut your brain off and embrace the crazy.

@@tazdivil6527 yeah the 45mins he spent reviewing this would be better spent actually watching the first half of the movie and judging for yourself if you stay for the rest, which, I have no doubt, most will because of the amount of fun they'd be having. 45mins to review such a simple story is ridiculous. He may make ppl believe it's bad when it really isn't.

The amazing thing about this movie is that Nicolas Cage had no script to work with. This was supposed to be a family comedy movie with Nick doing a small cameo in a minor role, but then the animatronics actually became alive, Nick started whacking them and the director just went along with it.

But they also rated how good the kills were and how the comedy landed for them. They talked about how they felt bait and switched and then they rated the film based on its premise and the jokes and action just didnt all land for them.

@@JunDageki thing is, it's not classified as Horror, it's classified as a Action Thriller. Joe and the gang were basically like the parents taking their kids to see Deadpool, they went in expecting a kids movie and got an adult movie. they did not properly read the rating labels. sure it has Horror elements with the psychopaths and supernatural body possession, but it's genre is not Horror.

I'd have preferred Dredd badass fun style but it won't be gits. The graphics are cool but there's no beauty or art like Blade Runner 2049 which I adore a lot.

I liked it - it was fun comedy with some horror elements. Laughed a lot, especially how badass Cage was. And yes - without Cage, the movie fails. I was also high so that might have factored in my enjoyment.

The way Joe deconstructs that first kill: I don't know how he didn't find that hilarious. They're literally just slapping each other and when the ostrich finally bites a piece of Nicolas Cage's cheek he just breaks them off and uses the wooden mop to destroy metal it's hilarious

The best part is, Scott the creator of Fnaf himself said people should see this movie while he's working on the real Fnaf movie. And since Scott considers parodies or spinoffs as canon multiverse that means that this movie does technically exist in the world of fnaf

Aside from the dead cop on the side of the road still breathing as Liz walks away, the scene with the police raid in the flashbacks had a big continuity error. Despite them explaining that they made the deal with the killers over a decade prior, plus however long they had already been killing, all the police SUVs were ~2020 Tahoe.

This movie is freakin great. I can't think of another horror/comedy/action movie were the good guy doesn't get scared and just straight up brutalized the evil guys. Watch it.

I thought I was the only one who remembers Showbiz pizza. lol! I have always thought since the first time I played FNAF that the characters were very closely based on the Showbiz band more than Chuck E. Cheese.

I got exactly what I wanted. I loooove movies and shows where the protagonists beat the shit out of the problem rather than running. Kinda like Doom and Evil dead franchise.

I know this movie is dumb and silly but it's also selfaware which makes it really enjoyable, fun and awesome to watch 7.5/10 well... atleast for me. I already knew what I was in for since I saw the trailer and budget.

Angry Joe's film reviews have been invaluable to me ever since suicide squad. Every time Joe tells me not to watch something I watch immediately and if he loves it I avoid it at all cost.

"Major Magic" was the alternate "Chucky Cheese" up here in Pennsylvania. I think it really depends on location cuz I know there were others too.

The other Chuck E Cheese competitor/group you were thinking of was actually more of a precursor--if you will--called Billy-Bob and the Rockafire Explosion. CEC's parent-company bought them, and many of the animatronics were refitted/rebuilt to some of Chuck's band members. There's a few vids talking about them.

I thought it was gonna be revealed at the end that HE was an animatronic (the adhering to his alarm, the energy drinks, the duct tape, the lack of dialogue) but I guess I gave the writers too much credit.

We rented it this evening, it was just awesome. We loved the movie, it was just awesome. This review really stretched on, we had the same conversation here between the three of us and it was over in ten minutes.This review was pretty long winded.

Kinda funny how apparently the film was developed in a complete vacuum from Five Nights At Freddy's, yet watching it with a group of fnaf fans we were caught off guard by how many tropes were identical. The Fnaf Silver Eyes book trilogy (which was considered as a plot source for the upcoming film), ironically stars a band of teenagers near identical to the cast we got. In the end we just ended up calling Liv Charlie, the alligator Montgomery, and talking about how somehow Siren Sara was a more effective villain than Willy himself. Also there is a Mike Schmidt in the credits. Sound Mixer. I don't even know what to say to that.

Also Chuck E Cheese's primary competitor in the day was Showbiz Pizza. At some point between the 80s and 90s Chuck E Cheeses went bankrupt and was bought by their rivals. The creator of Showbiz Pizza's characters, Aaron Fechter, refused to sign over the rights to the Rockafire Explosion band, so instead the company ditched him and turned all the restaurants into Chuck E Cheeses. All the animatronics were shoddily converted from one design to the other.

Its definitely a comedy and I think it fits into that niche area that divides people where it succesfully uses horror tropes, in a horror setting that leaves you guessing at the tone, until you realise its a comedy action film. When you look at it like that, alot more of the questionable elements work, but if it doesnt go far enough in your opinion to do that, then you still wont enjoy it. This is just how its gonna be with this movie, different for everyone, different depending on which lens you examine the film through, different for which expectations you had, and just sits in that niche, grey area that divides people.

Actually it’s the opposite, the owner of Chuck E Cheese Nolan Bushnell, founder of Atari and invented Pong, went bankrupt in 1984 after the video game industry crashed and the company that owned show biz pizza bought out Chuck E. Cheese which was created by Bob Brock, once a potential investor in Chuck E. Cheese. He had all the Chuck E. Cheese and showbiz pizza locations remain the same until the showbiz restraint eventually failed and all locations were transferred into Chuck E. Cheese’s.
