Think You Know Wine features David Lawrason, John Szabo MS, Michael Godel and Sara d'Amato blind tasting via Zoom. Our host Renée Sferrazza guides our critics through the following wines:
Zenato Valpolicella Superiore 2017
Louis M. Martini Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Tenuta Sette Ponti Crognolo 2017
This is meant to be entertainment as it's friendly coopetition between old colleagues and good friends. Hopefully it is educational as well, either by being right or being wrong.

Can't stop to watch your videos! Cheers from Italy, of course, with a good glass of Nebbiolo in my hand.

Amazing show. Ontario wines would be awesome next especially some high end P.E.C pinot noir and chard

J szabo = wine god. Guys, please make one of the blind tastings a top flight wine (eg Bordeaux grand cru or henschke hill of grace) so we can see what happens!...

The MC has had a turn, can we please have a new one? Some variety rather than all guesses being ‘amazing’ & just get out of the way & let the judges do their thing & be the stars of the show pls. Thanks ✌🏻

I enjoyed these in the past when I didn't know what the wine was either, and tried to guess from their descriptors. Unfortunately, now the title of the video gives it away.

How did the crowd not go with John on the Valpolicella? Sounded like he had it nailed from his comments

Next interesting episode and kudos to John, but Toscana IGT is not the same like Brunello or Nobile.

Ah! Ah! WineAlign - Appellation IGT Toscana ( you called Tuscan Red ) - is not OK for Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG and definatelly not for Brunello di Montepulciano DOCG :)

Great show. But please don't give away the wine in the title. We're playing at home, too.

Genuinely curious. Are there risks to the wine critic’s credibility if they don’t do well on blind tasting? I am so surprised that often times experts would get the basic varietal totally wrong... but at the same time I understand it’d be extremely difficult especially when you’re tasting a highly manipulated wine or low quality wine where terroir doesn’t come through.

Their regular job is not to guess blindly what wine are they tasting but to attest of the quality of a wine, so no, their credibility is not really at risk. It's more a game to me ... But John as a MS should be better than the other, and he is ahah
