Today we're going to talk about a small but often overlooked movement from the second form of Wing Chun, the Chum Kil. It's a small drilling movement but has a lot of applications.

It takes a very confident SiFu to admit to a training mistake. Much respect! Your training material is outstanding.

Your reaction at 5:09 was hilarious 😂 , but I love the tutorial and hope that Chris wasn't injured, but like my Sifu and Sigun always told me "There is no better teacher than pain". Love you guys💯

Sifu Gary Lam has an interpretation of that punch from the lan before the fung hao... Use it as a curving punch to span a wider range instead of going straight.

That fall was pretty harsh. Hope Chris is OK. You’re a really good teacher, please don’t beat yourself up about it. There’s always the risk s*** happens when you train, even when you’re being careful. This clips a good reminder of the nature of application training.

I like this Adam. This is true practical wing chun. All you need is a perfect chain punch and 1 kick. Fights all over in less that 15 seconds. Maybe , 5 seconds.

I think it would be a good idea to put a few foam ambience/echo blocking plates in the corners so we can hear you clearly.

As I said Chris is a real hero :) I hope he is OK. I love your full immersion online academy I just started this week! I do use this drilling motion a lot. I train with other martial artists and I always surprise them with it in sparring. Hehe. I love wing Chun

I enjoyed watching this and appreciate your honest response and analysis. I do a modified form of Wing Chun and BaGua that places a lot of emphasis on physical conditioning, footwork and repositioning to change angles for strikes and to avoid as much as possible being put on the ground. How much do you think that foot work and repositioning plays into the outcome of a fight? Enjoy your channel

But if I'm being honest for real this time Adam Chan the fighting system I want to learn and invent is with Krav Maga combat sambo sanda/sanshou which are the best militarized MMA styles of all time in history effective and work in self-defense street fighting and you can learn them anywhere in the USA without going to their place of origin but look Adam Chan out of the Marshalls I told you in the first comment and in this comment just know there are no good nor bad martial arts they are all effective and work in self-defense street fighting it's up to the individual to make it work okay but most of all it's up to GOD 🙏 to help you out all right

Would you happen to know how to apply small joint locks to a flexible person? Like wrist locks for example. I gave it a try on my muay thai friend, he's about 50lbs above me and it worked! Great instruction.

Adam siffu is it possible that when you are doing a lower punch and Chris is using gaun sau to Stop your punch and how can you push him like this?? I think Chris can divert your forward momentum using his sensitivity...

I'm very early, I have a question does wing chun have shock power? I seen one of your videos about the origins of wing chun and at some point you talk about shock power is it true wing chun doesn't teach that?
