Hi Richard! Diamond Grandma recommended your channel. The picture is beautiful! I used to do counted cross stitch many, many years ago. I like to do diamond painting and recently I’m trying embroidery. After seeing your video, I may try counted cross stitch again. Thanks for sharing how-to-use the scroll bars! 🙂

You have me missing cross stitch! I did the same kind of ladies - cant think of the patterns. I had to give it up cuz I just couldn't see. The magnifying glass makes me dizzy :( so then I did hand quilting and beading for quite awhile and now crocheting again. Thanks so much for your content ❤

This is so funny.....I had a Marsha in the group!! You are so Welcome for the content. I miss those ladies so much; there is still one after almost 30 years of doing it, that is still with me....not that the others have died or anything! lol. But we have just dismounted the group since the local community center no longer offers the classroom for free. Stay creative and Keep Crocheting!! The Yarn stores need to stay open. 🧶Richard

We didn't even leave our house they called as my dad was ready to open the garage door and they canceled my appointment, there was too many people at the hospital with Covid, not one bed was available and every hallway was full of patients with Covid so who knows when I'll get it done. I would love to see Frozen Live

Happy belated birthday Richard! 🎉🥳 Sorry I missed it. I’m watching this the morning of the 6th. My Mom was born January 6, 1926. Today would have been her 97th birthday. Sure do miss her. Today is also our fur baby’s birthday! His name is Bandit. He’s a Chug-half chihuahua/half pug. He is 15 today. Yes, he’s an old man now. Remember the old Johnny Quest cartoons? He’s named after Bandit-Johnnys dog. Great video. Thanks so much. Hope you enjoyed the show!

My mother died July 4th 1992.....I miss her terribly too, every year on her birthday which is Halloween. Thanks for the belated wishes! Still the thought behind it. Have a wonderfully creative weekend.

Wait... You can't eat for 24 hours. I have to take my meds with food. If I don't take my meds, I'm stuck in bed cause I can't move without them. They must have me mixed up with someone else. I can't do that 24 hour thing. They want me to have one next month. I'm going to have to gracefully decline their generous offer of having one. I wonder why my doctor (or my little sister who went with me to the doctors office) didn't tell me that. I'm glad you said something. Getting old sucks sometimes lol... I never could use the scroll bars. I just couldn't get the hang of it. I made my mom a 3.5 foot long Lords Supper. Now that was a chore. I worked on that thing for 6 months but my mom loved it. Her preacher said it would look very good in the baptistery. Mama said it looked much better in her house and he couldn't have it. I went to a yard sale and found 5 totes full of cross stitch patterns. The lady only wanted 5.00 for each tote. I bought them all. I also have probably close to 150 heaven and earth designs. My twin sister would buy them for me before she died. I guess I should probably look at them from time to time huh... I sure chased rabbits on this one. sorry. Thanks for listening.

1st off; NO, I LOVED hearing this from you! I have just started seeing Heaven and Earth designs so I am going to look this morning to see if I like their style of art. My brother lost his 'twin' too, and they both had a piece our mother had stitched for them both. I wonder what happened to the now deseased brother? Hmmm? What a deal on the totes!! Wow. I'd love to see your whole set up. Can you sit comfortably back or are you on the edge of your seat. I have only used hoops and Qsnaps.

I've never used a hoop as it crushes the fabric. I remember when I was a kid and gramma taught me how to stitch, i would rather hold it in my hand, that is until i discovered how much I LOVED using scroll bars. Richard

Have you used the thread wax to keep the thread from knotting?

no, I do use it when I am beading and making jewelry as I did when I made your bracelet, though. I find it leaves the floss discolored. That is just me..... Richard

Do you sew the edges of your aida to prevent it from fraying?

This has nothing to do with cross stitch but how did you do your Diamond Art with a cat. I just rescued one and she will not let me work on it.
