You like that white lithium grease! Grease has a lot of different use.

Mine seemed to push right in but that may be bad its not a tight ball fit then glue or drill a hole in it bolt together or will see. If it snaps right in socket ball that means its worn out rust in it. Mini clamp or replace the wiper transmission next. Mine 99 explorer 345000 miles 😮 so... scrapyard soon. They sell new transmission but maybe $200

Mine 99 expl had the yellow ball rubber scusion come out i used goop or can we use silicone to glue it in lubricate rubber too but with goop or silicone caulk clear. Mine also on drivers side came loose past the wiper stud connection by fuse panel there was a black panel used 7/32 screws (3) took it off and theres a work spece far right faceing drivers side room for hand to reach. Will try your c clamp trick also. Not room for plyers but c clamp good idea. It fixed we'll see how long. Thanks for posting video.

I think that's what happens to mine. I removed the nut and the bold still moves with the arm, so it must be manifold that came undone. FFS.
