Don’t talk about the break up and what went wrong Start a clean slate, share new news Speak like a friend & don’t flirt Respect boundaries. “You were right I needed to work on myself. I have grown” Keep positive. Be humorous. “I want you to be happy, even if it’s not with me” alleviates pressure (you’re no longer an obstacle to their happiness) “Thank you for blocking me, it woke me up.” “If you choose to communicate again then great” Adapt accordingly Don’t be intrusive. Even if it had a positive impact on you, I'd not reward getting blocked. You can reframe that more as something like: "I appreciate you being kind/patient with me, it has helped me with so and so." However, if you were blocked, I'd wait a while to say that. Prior try to just keep the conversation more lighter.

My husband cheated on me after 30 years together. He has started a relationship with a very bad person. I found myself telling him what she was all about. I felt like the other woman and that’s wrong. I came home from visiting our daughter and he was gone. I didn’t even know we were in such a bad way. He hasn’t even told me what happen for him to have done this. He has cut all of us off. He don’t talk to any of us. He has lost at least 50lbs and he is not nice with me. We miss him and need him but he don’t care. I find myself full of hate in my heart and I don’t want to feel like this.

Funny enough I didn’t think I needed this, haven't watch your videos in a while. It has been 1 year and let me count..... 7 months since we and my now, for now friend. I wouldn't say ex anymore. More a friend I previously had a life with. But now something has change. She is now reaching out quite a lot, randomly vame over to my house.... twice and last week went for a walk at the park with her...... it's absolutely crazy. And I am at a point where I have been considering other women. Totally ready to move on. Still working on changing habits for myself and doing what I want to do. But now..... we are ralking once or twice a week. Its crazy absolutely crazy and now I am here again watching you guys reinforcing the wisdom on manuvering through whatever this is.

He said he isn't ready when I asked him if we just let it flow with time.. but before that, he said there isn't any negativity when I approached... because our break up was very rational. There were no begging or anything like that, just accepted it because we loved each other, but had fights. I don't really know if I should go to NC again or should go on with small steps...

Hello everybody.... Davey here, and I'm living in Taiwan. Originally from San Diego, California. Nie meeting everyone... Question: What happens if we say what coach Alex said (Tip #2)... I think it was something like... Mmmm well for me(not blocked), I said, "Thank you for breakingup with me, I was too much and there's no negativity on my side.." Something like that... We were in good terms for awhile then I found out he was cheating with me and his current so i sent him an angry text, blocked him so i did not read his reply but he still has not blocked me-dunno if i still have the chance to fix it, i am in no contact with him for 2 months now, I still feel the resentment though I have done a lot of things to improve myself like doing activities to face my fears, traveling and reading- I still miss him but it seems like i cannot let go of his betrayal and i dont know what to say when i reach out to him because of that

No contact. Time will heal. But don’t ignore her/him if they reach out. And instead of bringing up the past, just talk to the person like you are dating them for the first time. If she brings anything up, take accountability but don’t take pity on yourself or her. Just explain that you felt so strongly about the relationship but realize that maybe you aren’t right for each other. It’s not really reverse psychology, it’s just detaching from the relationship.

What if we have already said something via text that triggered our ex's sore spot about the relationship need that they wanted but didn't receive from us, in other words where we have said something that came across too strongly in that moment that it touched on a sore spot that the ex was not wanting to feel and therefore out of consequence the ex is now punishing us by setting in a boundary with us out of anger by withholding interest and communication from us and also taking us for granted and ignoring us because the ex said they think we are playing games and they said they don't have time for games--- what do we do in a case like this because what if we did try to assert ourselves in that moment the situation occured but in that moment we weren't effective enough in standing up for ourself to that punishment the ex was putting on us-- should we bring up the topic again just in order to try to assert ourself properly or would that be a bit too late to really try to stand up for ourself now after the moment has already occured or should we just give space and distance now and show the ex what they've lost ?

I met someone, we talk and chat and after he wanted to go fast , I mean intimate , I said no not coming to met for that . After he get distant.. and told ignore me and was harsh nose up with me , as I was nicer and nicer .. so he take the game hard very hard . My question is , will he regret his behavior? Been 6 months since I broke up w her, right after the breakup couldn’t control my emotions and said so stuff I didn’t mean but I’m the one trying to get us back together. I was n nc for 3 months reached out and it was a disaster. She was emotional and said some hurtful things and I just said I love u and went back into nc. A mutual friend recently talked to her and said she has no interest in getting back together at all. So I’m still madly in love w her miss her like crazy but I’m lost in how or if we could ever get back together. We don’t have each other on sm nor live closely where we would even bump into on another. Need help

You need to move on probably. Maybe you overwhelmed her with words idk. She obviously still mad, there’s a thin line between love and hate. That however does not mean she wants you back at this moment. If you told her you’re sorry and took accountability for your actions or the break up I’d say the ball is in her court, you can not force her to be with you. Give it time.

She was probably second guessing herself. It happens a lot. We have so much we want to say but when we see our ex partner… we get afraid of rejection or want you to reach out first. Like give us a green flag.

OK yes me and my ex has been split up now for over a year. We've been conversating with each other here and she calls me on yesterday. She is having a little health issue and she knows that I goes to the gym. She asks me if she can go with me when I go to the gym because she does not want to get a membership.
