Clifford raises a concern about belief formation. It seems that sometimes we can do wrong when we believe. What would this involve?
Is it wrong to hold certain beliefs about yourself, others, or about situational facts? Is it wrong to hold the belief, or only wrong to produce it? If a belief is likely to make you feel bad or damage your health, does that mean you should not hold it? What about beliefs that, even if they are false, improve your health or feelings?
