Good test! I got mine to 58 kph with the stock 2S, cool to see you managed to get it above the 60 kph. Boy, these are so hard to control when they reach 50+, itøs like they get a mind of their own and heads in their own direction and when trying to compensate they flip or spin. But great fun for the bucks. Running a new series about them right now. Subscribed to your channel. Thumbs up!

I corrected the steering and control issues by replacing the plastic pull arms with adjustable metal ones. I think they're also called tie-rods. Then dialed in a little negative camber and a slight toe-in. Tracks straight without any trimming.

TechTronic9000 thanks Paul, I actually run my old A979B on 3s all the time, still ran.. No burnouts of the electronics just chewed spur gears and diffs 😀👌

Cheers this video is hella old, I've sorted and stiffened the steering and loose wheel slop that makes these cars go over the place since then... It drives like it's on rails now... Clocked up 73kph recently on this same 2year old buggy on stock electrics recently....video is up from a couple months back on the channel..cheers for watching mate!

Awesome vid so fast how does your esc handle the 3s lipo? I carry a leaf blower to cool the motor and esc down. Im gonna try a 3s hope it works out 😊👍

install fan to motor and esc.and then,you are good to go..

RC Escape tried and tested it just keeps working 😂. I do cringe a bit each time I stack it and it goes flying out though

Run the fan from a small lipo .battery

Ran it heaps of times on both 2s and 3s, and its still running.

No mods running stock ESC, ran it many times and my 979b truck with no burn ups on the stock ESC yet

it will fry the esc instantly so i suggest do not do it, 3s will eventually cook the stock esc

for 2s you had 56km and for 3s 60km something was wrong with this car :)

Yep I agree I wasn't impressed with the top speeds tbh on 3s. I've seen other people regularly get 56kph on stock 2s though
