It depends on the agreement they worked out. Depending upon the dynamics, that might be all he could get. Also, Judy was quick to pull the trigger on "Bob". She made an assumption that Bob did not exist or something to that effect. As a judge, she's supposed to rule based upon facts and not assumptions. Just because Judy thinks she's smart, she could, in fact, be the dumbest person in the room. In my career, I worked several cases that an apparent bullshit answer turned out to be the truth.

In College I took a few courses from a prof who still did some police work for the county I live in. She said if the parent has a pulse, no matter how bad off they seem to be, the judge always seems to grant some type of visitation. It's disgusting to subject kids to some of this. Especially if they are expressing not wanting to go all the time and are of an age where their opinion should matter

So the child's mother dropped him off at his father's at 5:00, and he was supposed to spend time with his Dad for 2 hours and then his father was supposed to bring him back to his mother. So, if it was between 6:30 and 7:30 that the Dad was trying to bring him....as this mother indicates it was...by my reckoning that WAS about 2 hours. If he wasn't supposed to come back until 9:00....that would have been FOUR hours. If the Mom was having a date night, and didn't want the Dad to bring him home until 9:00....why didn't she just say "Can you let our son spend the night with you and I will pick him up tomorrow?"
