Great whittle, l love carvings like this. I do a couple different 5 minute wizards but not like this one. I will make a bunch of these. I clue magnets on the a pitta them on bus shelters and light poles when I take a walks. Thank you

Hey Bruce. It was a little brown paint thinned with water. Just to darken the cuts a little

Connie, a sharp knife would be my choice of tool. I rarely use any other tools
