Your process and order of operations seems like it's based on a lifetime of experience. You know exactly when you can work fast and loose and when you have to be accurate. Great to watch a master at work.

Wes I wanted to let you know that your microphone has major distortion. You need to turn down the gain on your audio. (edit:) the start of the video is what the distortion sounds like. At 7:55 the audio is toned down and sounds normal.. just for future reference. Love your content though. You're a great teacher.

Beautiful piece, great video. I wish you would show the entire finished product off in detail better though. Possibly as you would use it. That art should be shown off!

Hi Wes, greetings from Cheshire in England ,! Thank you .! My uncle was a carpenter, but he left me before he could show me the good stuff. One question Wes about the painting portion. I didn’t see any protective gear being worn, vapor, goggles, etc. Any reason why?

Wes I always enjoy your builds until now. Why on earth did you use that melamine for the body. I expect that from Ikea. Even 5/8 plywood would have been better! Just one person's opinion.

Absolutely gorgeous! You are the best. Gives me an idea to make one for my 12 year old granddaughter. Do you have a plan for making a table saw sled? I have the DeWault 744 and a sled I believe would greatly help in accuracy and consistency.

Nice work! Beautiful piece of furniture! I have a question. Alder is much more expensive than pine. So why not use pine for the wood, especially if it will be painted once completed? Thanks! Also, the vertical sticks of the face frame are thicker than the 1/4” melamine. Wont that affect how you put in the drawer sliders?
@WoodworkingWithWes
@WoodworkingWithWes 11 ай бұрын
Hi...first of all, I used alder because I consider pine too soft for a paint grade wood. Next, spacer blocks were provided for drawer guide installation. Thanks for watching, Wes

Hey Wes, love your videos. Why did you choose to use a tinted lacquer versus a tinted primer or enamel paint? I have a growing curiosity about tinting my lacquer.
@WoodworkingWithWes
@WoodworkingWithWes 11 ай бұрын
Hi...the tinted lacquer was a suggestion of my paint provider given that a tinted primer was not available in that dark of a color. Also, the tinted lacquer required no clear top coat. Thanks for watching, Wes
