HEADS UP! This week’s video is a little short, but for good reason. We got carried away for thanksgiving and didn’t get a ton done. Hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving! & Merry Christmas ❤

You can save a ton of money buying at farm auctions, but it can also bite you in the ass if you get carried away and impulse purchase. We go to auctions almost every weekend, it's our hobby and an economical way to get wanted items very cheap. Good luck with that wheeler, looks like a huge project.

luckily, of all things, woody is a stellar mechanic so I was willing to take the risk. from what he's done so far, it seems $100 in amazon parts might be all she needs to get going! ironically the tires are holding air, while we just replaced all the tires on everything else LOL

1. Move the car. Duh! 2. Back the truck into a ditch or low spot to decrease the drop angle.

It's super cozy, smartest thing we did was move our bed up to the loft. I think our toddler really loves being so tight together all the time. He never has to look for us and everything is simple.

thank you for saying that. It's tough with it being just the two of us and having a little guy to keep up with during all the work, but we're doing it. Might be slower than it would be without him, but we have so much more fun.

That was kind of a strange auction, I don’t know why but I felt like they were selling the tattered remains of a little old man’s once adventurous life. Well, the car and the truck fiasco just shows you’re normal, we all start our days like that on occasion don’t we? Impressive wood cutting there Meagan! Got a great laugh out of him saying “It runs!” Great to hear you had a good Thanksgiving, thanks!

it was the weirdest auction lol... it was at an old store that specialized in bee keeping supplies, and for some reason had a bunch of RV spots in the back. Happy thanksgiving to you too and Merry Christmas!

valid question! We still own the barndo and will be going back there for work often, but we need to start working on this project, the timing is just perfect. Woody still has to do a full frame off on his Dodge, build the dump bed for the F450, and do some serious work on my jeep before we're ready to imagine parting with the lift and shop

After raising 3 sons, the only thing that surprised me is that you didn’t get your wife to hold your beer! That being said, you got very lucky this time. I was expecting at least for you to need 10-15 stitches! All jokes aside, please be more careful. I really like your videos. I would hate to not have them to watch because you’re hurt. Sweetie, let your hand slide down the ax as it descends. You’ll get more oomph that way.

Hello, Like most ideas there has to be apart of ones ( D R E A M ) Some where in the MIX. Consider this then. IMPULSE is the same as a ( WANT ) NOT a TRUE *NEED* Sort of like how Fast food versus Food Store shopping can be. A BALANCE of the List in YOUR hand. What they place Directly in the path most (NEED) to go by before the Check out is completed. PEOPLE make CHOICES. NOT always the BEST informed decisions though. Each step can lead you forward. Turn one sideways. cause an immediate ( RETREAT ) or be More like Skating on Thin ICE. DANGER ( B E W A R E ). There i s a Saying perhaps YOU have or may not be aware of. One persona Trash is Another persons ( TREASURE ) . Just like the TERM * FOOLS GOLD * is it really ? or just meant to keep each of (US) on our toes? The Answer many times LYES within the Question being asked. SO, with that said here are some *YOU* need to consider versus WANT us to know before yourselves get stuck in the mud with NO HELP for many miles around. PLANS like a FART in the WIND. Has there moments. The process though can leave each ( Covering there Noses ) when the smell of REALITY has you running in the opposite direction ( ANYWAYS ) TODAY once again am HERE as your * Voice of Reason * Nobody can tell you what to do and expect EXACT Replies as it would relate to your Own minds eye. B.U.T.T. like the A$s in all of human kind. Opinions and comments along with ADVICE and WISDOM come at a PRICE far higher then Dollars and Sense. The Only thing about Common Sense is how ( Un-Common it is to find those who are actually using it. Falling in LOVE with an IMPLUSE Purchase ) often is the death by a thousand needle pricks. Slow and Steady and the pain only increase the more one IGNORES the TRUTH it was Hiding from the very moment it came into view. When people ask ( WHATS ) most important ? I will many times refer back to the Lessons of youth. The Boy Scout motto to be more specific. Be Prepared - ALWAYS. Rainy Days come out of no where. Storms and Disasters are the Warth of both Mother Nature and Father Time trying to see if ( WE ) were listening. Regardless of what others might be preaching. The Rule of thumb is to SAVE way more then YOU ever spend at any given time going forward. EXAMPLE: For every penny you might see yourself spending. SAVE two of that amount first. Back up to back ups. Its called Saving for the FUTURE in REVERSE. Piggy banks, Savings accounts, Money Markets, CD's, Mutual Funds. a Fireproof / Water proof Portable safe. Lock box or change purse is an easy way to get started. HOW PREPARED are YOU if the hell on Earth Storm of the century catches you out in the woods or face down in a pile of pooh ? A quick lesson for you always to remember. Be it your wallet, purse, glove box, tool bag, Kitchen cabinet or under the bed. Keep a few simple l items as close to you as possible. Basic First aid. Emergency contact numbers, CASH and Coins ( NO LESS ) then twenty bucks for sure. MORE if at all possible. ATM's Banks, Power lines and such down do YOU NO GOOD when CASH in the HAND is Like finding the POT of Gold at the end of the rainbow while sailing on NOAHS arc Waiting for the Flood waters to reseed into a valley or farther. Food , Water, Clothing, Shelter, etc. SURVIVAL in the wilderness is Counted by how many of these * YOU * have handy ? This is NOT a DOOMS day Speech. Instead its the VOICE of REASON coming calling to wake each up from the slumber of City Living. I have been where you are trying to go . One person in the group got hurt. They had not even a penny on there person. Lucky for them * WE * were within ear shot. Found them laying there as if the world had ended. Not knowing which way was North, South, East, or West. They had fallen apart within less then ten minutes. A Compass is a Virtual Wealth of information. A Reflective mirror, Plastic Poncho, and Foil Blanket along with a few bandaids is truly under 5 to 10 dollars if buying new or used. A Zip Lock baggie can hold it all safe and dry. What do YOU have to LOSE ??? ADVICE about having what YOU may NEVER ( N E E D ) Instead of sitting in the middle of now where Praying to who ever yOUr savior might be... LIFE is a Four Letter word. S A V E also comes from the same line of logic. KNOW what your getting yourself into. That way getting back out is much the same yet going in the opposite direction from where you stared. YOUR WELCOME. Tell the Man upstairs how blessed you are to hear from me again !!!
